29:56-30:00 I do not call that flying like a superhero. I call that falling down. This is referenced in another CD rom called "Elmo's Reading Basics" (which is Disc 1 in the "Sesame Street" deluxe learning series program; "Elmo's Reading Deluxe"). Elmo and Grover became Super Elmo and Super Grover. But they ended up falling down even with capes and helmets on. So when they flew out of the tree on the falling island, instead of flying, they fell on their backs backwards-RIGHT BACK AT GROVER'S HOUSE!
This game is basically one of my first memories I made, I can remember as a child with like 4 or 5. Seeing this unlocks and does things in my head I couldnt imagine memories can do. Its such a cool feeling
(mimicking Liam Campbell) "I'm disappointed that I never get to hear the quotes the Grover uses when gets angry after Big Bird accidentally destroyed his little traveling boat". Here's one of his furious reactions: Grover: "That was my only boat. You know, I do not have a spare or anything like that. Another is: Grover: "I really didn't like that boat. Nope". Here's more: 1. "Hey, you see nothing nicely. BUT WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SMASH MY LITTLE BOAT INTO SMITHEREENS?!" 2. "I am trying to remain calm...! BUT I AM UNABLE TO DO SO!" 3. "Oh lovely. Just wonderful. But now I am stuck here in this giant island...FOREVER!"
If you have not clicked on Big Bird (who crushed the boat) yet on page 7, this is what happens on page 7: (When the player clicks on the next page.) (Big Bird crushes Grover's boat after he puts his foot inside it.) Grover: OH NO! My boat! I know how I am right now! I feel...! ANGRY! Big Bird: (sad after he smashed Grover's boat) I am very sorry, Grover. I am so sad of what I have done. Grover: Yes. Well...? I suppose that it was an accident. Big Bird: Oh Grover. Come with me. And we can give you a balloon. You can fly away and keep on travelling.
At 25:09-25:16, if you click on planet Venus, this is what I call "Planet Golf". First it lands in the constellation, then the constellation catapults it to the moon, and the moon tosses it into the cauldron on the fire pit, then it hits Saturn (and Saturn pretends like it's the target), and finally it goes into the hole on Earth (acting it's a golf ball hole).
Grover was about to land on the flying island but before he could, the balloon hit the tree and pop! The balloon was destroyed and now, Grover is stuck on the island. He had to find a way to get back home.
BIG BIRD WHEN HE CRUSHED GROVER'S BOAT SHOULD'VE HAD A RESTRAINING ORDER FOR BREAKING IT At 19:01-19:20, I don't think Big Bird smashing Grover's rowboat would have been an accident. Because if I were Grover and if I was in Grover's position, if you ask me what I would say (if Big Bird crushed my rowboat), I would say, "SORRY DOES NOT FIX IT! IT IS STILL BROKEN!". I would make Big Bird trade money for the boat to replace it. Big Bird and Snuffy, well with Snuffy's help, Big Bird made up for it by building a hot air balloon. And Snuffy helped blow it up. But what about the boat? Big Bird still broke it! There are totally three sorries for something like this. It's acknowledge, remorse and empathy, and restitution. As for "restitution" (the 3rd apology), since the destroyed item after getting paid is fixed or replaced, Big Bird would have to find a way to buy Grover a new boat. Luis (from the "Fix it Shop") would not be able to fix it. Just like in "Bert and the Broken Teapot" by Tish Sommers and Tom Cooke. That's also "Sesame Street" too. Grover let Big Bird get away with it?! In what children's book would narrate a character breaking someone else's boat and then being allowed to get away with it?! It is true I would be angry if someone destroyed my things. I mean: "If I had an Xbox Series X and someone took it and broke it"...! I would make them pay for it. The destroyed item gets repaired or replaced, you know! If I were Big Bird and did this to someone else-IT WOULD BE "ON PURPOSE"! So I am comparing this to reality. Anyone who posts a comment to this SHOULD agree with me.
If Big Bird does not smash the boat (if you do not click on him), he immediately does if you do click on the next page. Here, I want to show you it (and I heard this when I was a little kid as well): (The user clicks on the next page.) (Big Bird smashes the boat.) Grover: OH NO! MY BOAT! I KNOW HOW I AM RIGHT NOW! I FEEL ANGRY! Big Bird (crying): I am so sorry Grover. I feel so sad for what I have done. Grover: Yes. Well, I suppose it was an accident. Big Bird: (with a plan for Grover's traveling) Oh please. Come with me. And we will give you a balloon. You can fly away and keep on traveling.

In "Frosted Feelings", this game in "Grover's Travels" actually was recycled from "Elmo's Preschool" (from the game in the Face Treehouse; "How Would You Feel...?" which is the moon game for "Faces").
In Sesame Street, Big Bird is six years old; and Snuffy, he is four. Snuffy is four. And in the real Sesame Street TV show, Alice Snuffleupagus (Aloysius Snuffleupagus's sister), she is two.
18:35-19:12: Big Bird:The Worst Is Going To Crush Grover's Red Wooden Boat! Even Though Big Bird Did,Big Bird Had An Accident Crushed Grover's Boat. But I Still Wonder What They Would Have Been Done With The Wooden Pieces Of Grover's Red Boat [From Big Bird And Snuffy's Big Island When Grover Had Landed]. Maybe Snuffy Blows Grover's Big Hot Air Balloon.
34:56 It is shown afterwards that Tabitha got fired from garbage business and lost everything: Her foster care, her reputation, etc., and her punishment is work as a janitor. She puts up a "The End" poster on a wall, and it falls down and wraps around her.
Although the lyrics do not appear on any website, I should try to get down the lyrics for "Grover's Traveling Song" (the normal version; page 1) and "Grover's Traveling Song-Reprise" (the reprise/end version; page 14). This is shown at 3:35-4:17 and 32:41-33:33 GROVER'S TRAVELING SONG (Grover) The feelings that I feel, I do not feel them. I do not feel the feelings that I feel. I sometimes feel that feelings are not real. But then, how should just feelings really feel? I am on my way, and I sing my song. Tra-la-la-la-la, Tra-la-la-la-la-la! The words are not important. I just hum my way along. Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum, Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo. A traveler's what I love to be. I go and meet people that are different from me. GROVER'S TRAVELING SONG (REPRISE) (Grover) The feelings that I feel, I feel them. AHA! I really feel the feelings that I feel. Feelings or my feelings, feel so good. Then, I really feel the feelings that I feel. (Grover's Mommy) You have traveled home, Singing your song. (Grover and Grover's Mommy) Tra-la-la-la-la, Tra-la-la-la-la-la! (Elmo) The words are not important. You just hum your way along. (Grover) "TOGETHER!" (Grover and Elmo) Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum, Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum-hum-hum. (Grover) "COUNT TOGETHER!" (Grover) "You know what Elmo?" A traveler is what I love to be. Because the people I meet, They have the feelings like me.
33:43-33:46: Grover's Mommy: The worst is going to eat all of these cookies! Even though Grover's mommy said that, Cookie Monster in the end only ate two. But I still wonder what they would've done with the century's supply of gingerbread person cookies (from the "Frosted Feelings" game). Maybe they'd have to put them in bags.
I mean "millennium supply of cookies". The worst (which was Cookie Monster) did not really "eat all the cookies". He only ate 2 and left the rest for everyone else. But yes, I thought this was funny when Grover's Mommy said, "The worst is going to eat all of these cookies!".
Since the topic is about feelings, the last game "Frosted Feelings" is a recycled game from another Sesame Street CD ROM called "Elmo's Preschool". It's from the "Faces Treehouse" in "Elmo's Preschool". The game "How Would You Feel...?" is the moon game. And as for "Frosted Feelings", it has a lot in common with "How Would You Feel...?" from Elmo's Preschool's "Faces Treehouse". These are the similarities: 1. Elmo asks the "How would you feel?" question. 2. Shows the right answer if the player answers it wrong. (However, if the player answers it right or wrong, Grover tells the user if they are right or wrong.) 3. The feelings are either glad, sad, mad, and scared (for the answers). In "Elmo's Preschool", it really creeped me out when I played that in kindergarten and got an answer wrong for the moon game in the "Faces Treehouse" (the game "How Would You Feel...?"). One time, when Elmo asked the question, "How would you feel when no one wants to play with you? Make a face to show how you would feel". When I answered it as "happy", that is what Elmo said. He said, "You made a happy face. That is different from how Elmo would feel. It makes Elmo sad, when no one wants to play with Elmo. Elmo's sad face is like this. Watch". Then he made a sad face. So in the "Frosted Feelings" game, once again, the user is not criticized or punished. But Grover and Elmo always show the user the correct answer whenever they answer it incorrectly. On Hard, if the user makes an incorrect attempt, Elmo gives the player one more chance to try again. If they make a second incorrect attempt, Elmo asks the user how they would feel in Grover's position (or any of the characters he saw in the story). So if the question was, "How did Grover feel when Big Bird smashed his boat?". If the user answers "glad" and "scared" as incorrect answers, Elmo says, "How would you feel if a giant bird like Big Bird broke your boat?". Well, the correct answer would be "mad". Not to start an argument. But I am comparing this to an activity in another Sesame Street game.
Cookie Monster: Oh. Someone else want to use computer, huh? That’s okay. You can go read regular book-or, or play outside-or… maybe time for bed. OH! MAYBE TIME FOR COOKIE!
In the "Silly Sailors" game, the easy game has a random lost thing for the lion, the bear, and Polly the Parrot. But in the hard game, the lion, bear, and Polly the Parrot's lost thing is always the same. This is how it works between the EASY and HARD difficulties: EASY 1. Lion- Brushing Teeth/Finding the Key for the Lock 2. Bear- Bandaging his Bleeding Thumb/Hammering the Nail 3. Polly the Parrot- Give Her Tea/Painting the Perch HARD 1. Lion- Food for Lion 2. Bear- Help Bear Get Dressed 3. Polly the Parrot- Play an Instrument The other games (other than just "Silly Sailors") are Untie Grover, The Sea of Opposites, Inflate the Balloon, Elmo's Cape, and Frosted Feelings. In the "Silly Sailors" game, two of the sailors are an animal from the zoo (a lion and a bear). But one is a pet (that being Polly --and she is a parrot). To my thought, I did not know that in the fantasy world a lion could be friends with a bear. But it is true. Lions and bears live in the zoo.
In the game "Untie Grover", on "Hard" difficulty, you have to answer the numbers in order; going 1 through 9 instead of 1 through 5. There are 10 wooden poles but you only need to untie 9 ropes (in order). On "Easy" difficulty you have to answer the numbers 1 through 5 in order. There are 6 wooden poles but you only need to untie 5 ropes (in order). So you have to answer the numbers in the correct order. On "Easy", it's 1 through 5; but on "Hard", it's 1 through 9.

At 25:41-25:49, it's a young Galapagos tortoise. He comes out of the tent, then he fastens a parachute seatbelt, and then parachutes off the island.

GROVER'S TRAVELING SONG
(Grover) The feelings that I feel, I do not feel them.
I do not feel the feelings that I feel.
I sometimes feel that feelings are not real.
But then, how should just feelings really feel?
I am on my way, and I sing my song.
Tra-la-la-la-la,
Tra-la-la-la-la-la!
The words are not important.
I just hum my way along.
Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum,
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo.
A traveler's what I love to be.
I go and meet people that are different from me.
GROVER'S TRAVELING SONG (REPRISE)
(Grover) The feelings that I feel, I feel them.
AHA!
I really feel the feelings that I feel.
Feelings or my feelings, feel so good.
Then, I really feel the feelings that I feel.
(Grover's Mommy)
You have traveled home,
Singing your song.
(Grover and Grover's Mommy)
Tra-la-la-la-la,
Tra-la-la-la-la-la!
(Elmo) The words are not important.
You just hum your way along.
(Grover) "TOGETHER!"
(Grover and Elmo)
Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum,
Hum-hum-hum-hum-hum-hum-hum.
(Grover) "COUNT TOGETHER!"
(Grover) "You know what Elmo?"

They have the feelings like me.

These are the similarities:
1. Elmo asks the "How would you feel?" question.
2. Shows the right answer if the player answers it wrong. (However, if the player answers it right or wrong, Grover tells the user if they are right or wrong.)
My grandmother had a few Sesame Street get set to read CDs I played this one the most
I use to play this game when I was a little little kid. Both this, and The Three Grouchketeers.
Me too along with Elmo Through the Looking Glass
In the game "Untie Grover", on "Hard" difficulty, you have to answer the numbers in order; going 1 through 9 instead of 1 through 5. There are 10 wooden poles but you only need to untie 9 ropes (in order). On "Easy" difficulty you have to answer the numbers 1 through 5 in order. There are 6 wooden poles but you only need to untie 5 ropes (in order).
So you have to answer the numbers in the correct order. On "Easy", it's 1 through 5; but on "Hard", it's 1 through 9.
Another classic one of the first CD rom games

The shoe house in the background might be a nod to the old woman who lives in shoe from Mother Goose rhymes
