I'm confused about why you're wearing headsets (especially what seem to be noise cancelling ones)... isn't a large part of the thrill hearing that half lamborghini v10? Not to mention not having to hear the other person talk. Also, I thought the fun of a manual was shifting gears on a backroad

what I never understand: the enthousiasm of the engine sound, with "pure engine roar" and then wearing bose noise cancelling headphones...... to kill the sound in your ears... contradictus in terminus... can someone please explain? (don't get me wrong, I drove a Donkervoort once and loved it, but without the headphones). Communication is key I read but are not saying anything, and you can shout no?
It's a personal choice, with different reasons for each driver! In this case, the headset is also used for communication with the (media) team, as shouting over the engine noise isn't effective 😉
