Stayed there recently. Food was AMAZING! Room was great. Service was excellent. The swimming pools were massive with the water being strangely warm, almost hot. We didn’t want to do any excursions but we paid for a cab to go to Paseo del Carmen which was cost $80 round trip. I found that to be a little expensive. My lone negative was the beach which looks amazing with a nice blue/green color to it. But there were rocks everywhere, very rough on the feet. But hey that’s something they can’t do anything about. I’m hearing they’re doing an Unico in DR and I would totally go there.
Was it annoying to see booked off or cordoned off areas of the resort (pool, beach, best loungers and chairs) for their members? Did that detract from your vacation if there are parts of the resort that you're not allowed to be in or to enjoy? Thanks.
