Great video! As someone with a bulkier 16” laptop, I have been waiting for a review of backpacks with larger laptop compartments! I have been using the Eagle Creek Wayfinder 30L for a few of years now and feel it’s an underrated bag. It has a bit of an outdoorsy look to it but works great as a larger EDC or smaller travel backpack with a dedicated 17” laptop compartment. Plus, it’s also one of the comfiest backpacks I’ve ever owned. It was also less expensive than many others on this list. ;)
*flashback to the time back in uni when I had to lug around my heavy Alienware x17 R4 in its propriety(?) bag since it's the only bag that can fit it* ..... I'm glad laptops are getting thinner especially the gaming ones... *Cries tears of pain*
The timing of this is wild. I’ve been shopping for months for a pack that can fit a 15”x10” laptop… and I JUST finally bit the bullet and ordered a Ctactical bag a couple days ago… before this video dropped 😢
Hey Aaron, if you have the chance, could you review the just released Mystery Ranch Front v2? seeing as it is still available on Suburban HK or Taobao.
I’m in need of a backpack for my Legion 7i. I need a bag that can store a lot of stuff with a lot of pockets. I’m a computer science college student who carries many things in a backpack, also don’t want something too heavy either. I also walk to classes, so comfort is also a priority. I also want my gaming laptop to fit into the laptop department well without not being so tight. Do you have any recommendations for a backpack that suits me? My Legion 7i laptop dimensions are - (H x W x D) 17.6-19.8mm x 357.7mm x 262.5mm / 0.69″-0.78″ x 14.08″ x 10.33″
im having trouble finding a good quality backpack that can hold two laptops. A 17in gaming laptop and a 14in macbook pro. I also carry an ipad other items and its been hard finding a backpack that is affordable
I don't own a 17" LP and frankly I don't think anyone should in 2025, but nevertheless - killer video man. You really are the Gandalf of the carry world🪄

YESSS - as an owner of a 17" laptop (and an aficionado of 17" laptops I may add) - this is such a timely video!!
so glad its helpful for you!!
Next is the best 18 inch laptop backpack as there are those big 18 inch razer laptops out there that a lot of people actually have
we'd have to get an 18" laptop first, send us yours and we'll make the video ;)
if only it was that easy lol. You could always make a 3D printing of an 18 inch
Thank you so much for this video. I really needed more options especially I travel internationally with my 17 incher.
Big fan
so glad to hear it was helpful!!

I’ve been looking for this video for months!!! Thanks
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Hell Yeah…this is the review I have been looking for. Thanks you
been a long time coming haha but glad we could finally get it out there
Excellent video Aaron as always! Can you do a video with small EDC backpacks (for people that use just ipad pro like I do) 11-17 liters?
thanks so much! I'll add your suggestion to our wish list

if that bag doesn't work at least you'll have some backups to look into!
We need a review of the updated tomtoc navigator t67
Coming soon!
Bro, when will T22 be available for order? I can’t wait
we are hoping the next week!!!
Classy review. Cowabunga.!
Do you have a bag to carry my rear projection TV and my Commodore 64?
That’ll be our next video

I would cross-reference the dimensions of your laptop with the dimensions of the laptop used in our video and hopefully they are close!
This is an awesome video. I LOVED the Fyro T22 but, it couldn’t accommodate my Legion 7i comfortably… got a evergoods CTB20 and it’s satisfactory.
thanks for supporting both NN & Fyro!!
Hi Aaron, great review! Will the aer city pack pro fit the asus laptop? Thanks in advance
thanks so much! I can't check right now as I'm traveling, I'd recommend asking Aer or reaching out to me again in a month when I'm back in HK
@@Nomads.Nation will ask you in a month, thanks
I needed thia video in 2019. Still good to see i finally have something to point for greedy laptop users.
💪🏻

Linus Tech Tips original backpack is the only one I know that is designed to hold two laptops. And yea, these bags won't be cheap
Fairly certain that Sympl’s Weekender and Travel backpacks would fit 17” laptops.
Thanks for sharing! Very well could but these are the 13 we picked
You and that black ember bag should get a room
😏
