This is really beautiful nice grand opening of the metro subway.. back in the days 1987
I WAS THERE
Three days ago, I acknowledged the *32* year anniversary of when the MTA Baltimore opened in a now-deleted comment.EDIT- 9:42 A.M.: *finishes video 10 minutes later*However, I was unable to watch this video until now!
Wow. Great video. Thanks for sharing. It's a very different system today.
Different how?The tracks are literally crumbling, or that all of the railcars smell like pee?
@@SlowRollMike Exactly and they are constantly single tracking and never come on time.
@@adh1224 single track means it's streamlined!
@@adh1224 it's all age and the MTA not doing what there supposed to do
I've noticed now since the trains are almost 40 years of age, there starting to show there age, RIP BURT car
Reisterstown Plaza station is where most of the festivities were held
4,000 passengers per weekday. Why is it so empty?
I love this
Man, I was born in 1993 but seeing then to now, oof! Subway is in desperate need of help
I miss the Baltimore metro 😢😓😓😓😓😢😢😢😢
It’s still here
I was born in 1982, I rode it every day.
I was born the day before at Johns Hopkins! It’s been all downhill from there!
Funny thing is we were supposed to get the subway a decade earlier, but the state delayed construction for some reason.
Some of the current cars used to have MTAMD’s old “Flying ‘T’” logo.
i was born in 1987
I was there too
Wasn’t even born until the following year 😂
And since 1987 MDOT has brought crime and dispair to every place they stop.
