These lyrics are dope as fuck. I like what this cat talkin bout. I always liked his lyrics in all their CD. I got all their albums from Down with the sickness on up to this. They're the only metal band who's music I have bought the and listen to. I'm a R&b hip hop man by nature though. BUT these white guys here. Are definitely welcome to the cook out, and da hood.😉
I think they were going for something like Judas Priest's Painkiller as far as the lyrics are concerned. Personally I am a big fan of Disturbed's instrumentals and at the same time love David's vocals. I can listen to either version of most songs and enjoy it.

I'm torn with this song. The lyrics are far too heavy for my taste, but the song sounds empty without them.
