Meet Santie a Professional Mountain Guide from Capetown!
Santie's love for mountains started at Stellenbosch University, where she discovered the stunning peaks of the Western Cape covered in fynbos. Over the years, she explored famous trails around the world, including Mt Taranaki in New Zealand, Mt Glittertind in Norway, and the volcanic landscapes of Reunion Island. In December 2019, after a life-changing solo hike across Reunion Island, she decided to leave her 25-year engineering career to become a Professional Mountain Guide. By March 2022, she was certified and now dedicates her life to sharing the beauty of nature and the rejuvenating power of mountain hikes with others.

Shrimayee was born and raised in Ranchi, India. Since then, she's also lived in Pune and Gurugram while pursuing her master's degree in arts. Currently, she works with Trip101 as a content executive. She's only traveled inside India up till now but hopes to one day see the world in all its glory. Her current favorite place out of the ones she's visited is Udaipur.
