We were thrilled to showcase the vibrant Magar cultural dance, Hurra, at the Akron International Dance Festival on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Hosted by Akron Ward 2 Council Representative, Phil Lombardo, this incredible event brought together a diverse gathering of over 150 guests and 100 talented performers from around the globe, celebrating the richness of world cultures through dance.
The Magar Society of Ohio, USA, proudly represented the Magar community, delivering a lively and energetic performance that highlighted the unique traditions, rhythms, and cultural heritage of the Magar people. The audience was captivated by the spirit of unity and joy that Hurra embodies.
