Great thank you, thinking about getting the ProMax model come out next month or two, I am new to Drone, I want to learn how to kill the noise of the drone in videos and also add music to the video an learn how to edited here or there to the video.. So maybe other videos
Thanks for watching. I have ordered the Hover Air ProMax. It should ship no later than 31 October. I'm hoping to get it sooner, but I''ll be doing an unboxing and review when it comes in. See more HaoverAirX1 videos here @WalkAroundWithRalph-ut8sl
When you connect your phone to the drone via Bluetooth, you should see an icon labeled "Albums." At the top, you'll see not downloaded and downloaded. If you see files in not downloaded, up in the top right is the select icon. Click that and then select all. Then click the download icon on the bottom left. Wait for the app to connect via wifi, and the download should start. Also, in app settings, make certain the hover app has permission for pictures and videos.
Thx for the tutorial! Several questons... 1. Have you tried transfering the videos via cable from X1 to your iPhone? (cable transfer works to my Android tablet, but not my Android phone) 2. When you wirelessly transfer the video to your iPhone, does the file have a timestamp of when you captured it, or when you transferred it? (noticed when I transfer with cable I get a timestamp of when captured, and wirelessly get timestamp of when transferred. Can be a nightmare to keep the media in order when a bunch of videos have the same timestamp and I want to fit them in time order in a video with GoPro/phone shots) Thanks! It's interesting seeing all of us sort through the nuances of using the X1!
When I tried the cable transfer, it didn't sync the audio because it bypassed the app. Timestamp was when created. The wireless transfer is super fast and uses the app so the video and audio sync up. 😁
@jafff1 Interesting. With the new FW update, even when using the cable, I'm finding the timestamps are all out of order anyways. I'll probably start just doing it wirelessly right after capturing the shot...like you do
@@jafff1I know this is a silly question, but would you please make a video on how you do this for newbies to follow ,after getting videos downloaded to phone then upload to TH-cam , WhatsApp etc... Thanks , you really have a good quick way of helping us all much appreciated you got yourself another subscriber 😊👍
There are many TH-cam videos on how to upload, but I'll work on one more specific to the Hover. In the meantime, you can download DaVinci Resolve here for free. There are hundreds of tutorial videos on TH-cam for it. www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw_LOwBhBFEiwAmSEQAWDlVLwImhCc4xaRqSHaQ5pe9H_WVLW2xh6vTQkSGr-FLtMSMa2PFhoCrqoQAvD_BwE
The best detailed info on getting drone videos from drone to iPhone and onto iPad! Question: when I watched video playback the action was faster than normal. Is there a way to change playback speed? This drone is only one day in my possession 😌🙂☺️
can't get the footage from the drone... tells me it's empty despite showing the 9 shots I have logged on there. any ideas? did you have to make an account on the app to get it to download clean?
You do need to do all that IF you want your audio synced with your video. The audio is recorded on the phone. Video is on the drone. When you go cable direct, it does not sync them. If you record the audio seperate, then you can sync it Post. I do that sometimes, but then you have to take out the prop noise also. This way, it's automatic.
Thank you for this tutorial sir. I had a question about the video format, does this drone captures video in vertical format too? For social media applications, since social media like Facebook/Instagram forcefully crops the video in vertical mode.
thanks from ireland great info i just bought one
Very informative, thanks for the video!

Any time!

Great info,to the point no faffing around ...😊cheers mate
Glad you enjoyed it
Is editing of video also done in the app?
No. I use DaVinci Resolve. The free edition.

@@WillowWalksTheAT I have found that works best, for me anyway.
Hi.How do you share your videos after the download? Like sharing on insta or WhatsApp?
I normally just share them to TH-cam.

Playback after download has always been normal here.
What you get before downloading is a low resolution preview with no sound.
can't get the footage from the drone... tells me it's empty despite showing the 9 shots I have logged on there. any ideas? did you have to make an account on the app to get it to download clean?
You need an app account to activate.
If you're downloading via the app wirelessly, everything should show up.
How can i download the album to my computer
After downloading to your phone, connect your phone via USB to your computer and just drag and drop them.
Thank you
You're welcome
Why does it want access to my entire photo album?
It shouldn't. Unless you're trying to uload a photo. Just say no.
You don't need to do all that, just plug it to your phone with a cable and download directly.

Yes, it does. You have to connect through the app and select it in settings. This was a recent update.
