Oregon fan here.. You guys are getting a great leader and possibly the best recruiter in the country. Cristobal will get a lot of flack from our fanbase, but personally I cant blame him one bit for wanting to return to his alma mater and home, it's what's best for his family. I wish him the best, I think he will take this program to great things
As a native of Miami and someone who went to HS and the U with the Cristobal brothers there’s nothing more special than coming home. I moved away for 17 years and just returned to Miami earlier this year and there’s no better feeling. Coach Cristobal will flourish and is prepared to return the U to prominence.
He will flourish and there is no excuse for fans to leave their unused season tickets laying around the house anymore. Will get out and support through every storm because his passion has rejuvenated our passion

People talk about the coaching trees of Belichik and Shula, sometimes Shannahan and Cower and so on. For Cristobal to play under Jimmy Johnson and Erickson and then to coach with legends as a grad assistant at Miami and living legends like Saban at Bama and a staff which included Kiffin, Napier, Smart & Kevin Steele among others. Cristobal has everything, including funding at his disposal. Been a Cane since birth and this is as excited I've been since January 3, 2002
Mario is a great leader. I enjoyed watching his team at Oregon. He came on the local sports radio and Did an exit interview. Nobody does that. I thought that showed what kind of Man he is. Miami is getting a great coach and a leader.

Are on the sidelines..... because.... based on what he did at Oregon..... the higher star rating you HAVE? .... the more time you’ll spend on the sidelines during a game!!

Just hope that everyone is mindful there’s work to be done. Linebacker group is less than stellar. OL isn’t the greatest. No rush ends, at least not Rosseau or Phillips level. Turnaround isn’t going to be instant. Some nice pieces in the right place but definitely not some playoff contender year one. Let the man do his job and enjoy the ride, because we’ve got him for a long time for better or worse.
