You demonstrated exactly why I never liked Quasar even before the cooldown nerf, having to charge the shot and hold it steady over a target opens you up to getting staggered by small enemies and missing your shot. Recoilless has always felt more comfortable to me, even with the reload time and having to rely on ammo (I tend to scavenge POIs a lot so that's rarely an issue for me).
mmm b-01 tactical... i will never stop wearing it. CADET FOR LIFE! also im shocked with the quasar slander in the comments, but its understandable. I personally still perform excellently with the quasar cannon, even after the nerf. I've just learned to work around its weaknesses, its a good backline AT weapon that you'll always have available. For the more aggressive playstyles, its probably not as great, but that's why the trio of AT weapons is so cool to me (EAT, Recoiless, Quasar), there's something for everyone. And the Sickle? Sickle just sickle i lub sickle
Your teamwork is always so inspiring. You should set your turrets on higher ground so they aren't as life-threatening to yourself or your mates and it limits exposure to enemy attack.
Using any AT I think its always more worth to shoot the legs from any angle for charger behemoths - their butts have a lot of health and can tank 2 shots from them, the leg is still the faster kill (with respect to a qc, anyways). the only advantage to shooting their ass with one of those would be if it's already taken some damage because AT weapons do 100% durable damage
If you move towards the charger as you try and pop its leg armour of with the quasar, or you are point blank range, then you do the full damage and take the armor off. Same with other anti- tanks. Just move towards the target you are shooting
Yup, my point in the description is that it's more awkward for the Quasar as you have to move forward right before the charge up is finished. For the other ATs you can just move forward and then shoot immediately.
Requesting Build: Red Coats Role Play All weapons and Strategems are Single Shot, Single Reload style. (Or bolt action) Eruptor. Grenade pistol. Railgun. With the exception of 120+380 barrage
XD. That's my Quasar drip! All yellow on one side matches the big-ass yellow cannon on my back. Now if they had a version in green and yellow I wouldn't say no..
Carrying a Supply Backpack while you're running Sickle and Quasar is peak homie energy.
"More for my buddies."
@@dagdamor1 For real, for real.

I love the quasar but the nurf definitely killed it! Use to be one shot kill on both chargers 😭
Yeah - Recoiless > EATs / Commando > Quasar for bugs imo.
Definitely prefer using eats/commando for the quasars role now, but a free AT is a free AT lol

I wasn't much of a quasar guy before the nerf, but I will say the jump pack goes nicely with it to create more space while charging it.
Ah true, guess I should try that. Been a while since I've brought the jetpack

Thanks! And yeah - either team on high ground, turrets low, or vice versa.

Yup, legs all the way!
Man Gacrux is such a pretty planet but my FPS on PS5 drops like a rock 😭
Yeah, mine tanks too, I just got used to it :/

That could be fun for bots...think I'd struggle for bugs tho!
Black and yellow on a green planet? Are you feeling okay?

Findmeanewname has the exact same armor setup I use :)
