Great choice in cases man Carney’s are hands down the best cases you can get out there for diecast. Luckily I only live about 45 minutes away from them so I just go and pick them up in person to save on shipping. Personally I don’t care for the mirrored back because of how bad the glare and reflection is but they all come with those foam pads because they’re acrylic so it’s to stop them from cracking. Those Mijo exclusive cases are really nice I might have to pick one of those up! Thanks for sharing man! 👍🏻
No doubt! Love the Carney’s and I wish I was in driving range lol 😂 do they have like an open showroom you can just come in and grab any size you want? Or do you still have to order one then pickup when it’s ready?

I personally like to mount mine directly into the studs, idk I feel more secure with the stud and a screw vs the anchor
Love the Carney cases! 🙌🏽🔥 I could see where the stud would offer more security but generally only one side would be in a stud, the other side would likely not line up with another stud. This was my third 108 case I’ve mounted and neither of my others are in studs and they’re holding strong! 💪🏽 fingers crossed lol 🤞🏽

The Mijo cases are nice. I’d drop a spot of black paint on the screw tops and exposed wall paint just to conceal the contrast. It’ll look seamless.

Yea I could do that, I’ll look into it, maybe just a piece of black tape behind instead of actual paint on the wall but I can paint the screw.. the carney IS awesome! Love them!
Or a piece of black tape! Right?! Clearly that’s the simplest option. Why would I try to make things harder?…

Cool displays ! Carney plastics 108👀 . I've got a few 144 diagonal love em.Do you like your Hobby japan Initial D? Was thinking about buying some.
I do like the idea of the diagonal, however my first few I acquired were straight so I wanted to keep uniformity 😭 my OCD couldn’t handle the different directions lol so I think I called those Hobby Japan in the video but that is a mistake, those are modelers the ones that come in two packs. I do have Hobby Japan initial D in another case, those are AMAZING! They have actual little characters inside the car, INSANE! If you’d like I can do a vid reviewing them
I'd like any Initial D car video 👍🏻! Same way back when originally buying 108 or 144 . Kinda wish I'd gone 108 instead.
Good looking cases! Just wondering, do you think it would be possible to install led lighting in the case? I want to get some carney cases for my 1/24 collection but I want to put LED lighting in it
It could be done but to run it through the case you would be better off getting a non divided case so you only have to drill one hole on each side of the case and run a LED strip through it. The divided case like I have you would only be able to run LED's around the outside.

Just ordered my display case from Carney, but because it’s being shipped to the PNW I’m sitting here stressing Fedex might trash it 😢
Is it better to aim for the studs for more strength?
Awesome! Congrats, you will not be disappointed! They are packed very well as shown in the video, I've ordered several from Carney and had them shipped to Colorado and never had an issue! You should be fine
I would definitely attach to studs if you can.
