How could I have lived almost my entire life and not ever heard of this phenomenal woman until after she had left us?! Now, at 81, she and the guys bring such joy into my life not only by their wonderful talent--and her world-class voice--but because they were so normal, so pleased to be able to bring such a pleasure to their fans. No sleaze, no repulsive behavior, always cheerful and upbeat! I will have Judith in my heart for what's left of my life. Such a woman! John McRae East Brookfield, Mass.
Judith and the Seekers are irreplacable. I could listen to them day and night. Their voices blend so well . I don't think I enjoy listening to any other group as much. I'm going to go on looking for more songs that they sang.
When was this concert filmed? Athol is now 81 years of age. He looks to be in his 60's in this video. I am amazed that these fabulous performers are still able to awe us with their talent after nearly 60 years in show business. Not one has gone to seed, not a hint of scandal in the lives of any of them. Judith has had tragedy in her life, the car wreck, the loss of her beloved husband, her health problems due to aging. But her magnificent spirit has enabled her to reach to nearly her 80th birthday still as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Thank you, Athol, Bruce, Keith, and Judith, for the great joy you have brought us who have listened for nearly 60 years to your wonderful music!
Judith Durham is amazing how she keeps going. Her voice still sounds crystal clear after all these years. Despite the tragic things that have happened in her life, she keeps cheerful and is an inspiration to us all.
I am from Philippines and i don’t know them, but when i saw them in youtube i begin to believe and became their fan, from there on i begin to watch their singing, congrats to all of you Seekers, you’re the best.
I was brought up with the Seekers. When I became a teacher, I taught my classes their songs. Later I was in the audience of their last tour in Buchanan Gallery. EVERYONE STOOD TO APPLAUD THE BEST GROUP IN THE WORLD. I HEARD NO ONE HAD EVER BEFORE , (IN BUCHANAN GALLERIES )STOOD FOR ANY GROUP !
Judith and the Seekers, Too bad only today I discover this video....Wish you all health and longevity, a sincere blessing wish from the east, thanks for the music and songs that has accompanied me since my childhood....God bless you all.
I have got to say a big THANK YOU RICH, for posting this on TH-cam so we all can see and listen to The great JUDITH DURHAM and The SEEKERS any time we like, it's as if JUDITH is still with us, Absolutely fantastic THANK YOU 👍👍
Tremendous. You are, Mr. Rich, number one, when it comes to sharing these wonderful performances by the Seekers, spanning the generations. So much soul in some of these songs. Ffor me my love affair with the Seekers began when I played the flip side-of what was it-Georgie Girl- and heard "When the Stars Begin to Fall" for the first time. It did change my life. This was 1979, although I had always really liked them since I was 12 when "I'll Never Find Another You" hit the charts- but this was a turning point on many levels, as it inspired me to learn guitar and banjo, to enjoy gospel and spirituals, and to begin my Seekers search! Thanks.
This was such a beautiful production. Thank you for sharing this as it has put me in the right direction for Christmas. Though I have ne seen The Seekers live before I feel I have. Thank you again.
Thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable seasonal collection. The variety of music, singers and settings is so interesting. It also shows me just how special Judith Durham is. I won't compare and contrast with the other lovely and talented women who sang with the Seekers and in other appearances here. It would not be classy, but I can see just how truly classy, humble and special Judith is. I have just ordered some CDs and a DVD to have for my own collection but will listen to this one and share it too, as it is a rich compilation! (no pun intended)
Thanks very much for the notofication of this wonderful video of My Sweetheart, Judith Durham, and the Seekers. Do you have any information on the beautiful lady who has replaced Judith, with the Seekers? She also has a great voice. William
They are no strangers to it for sure. I know Bruce made a special mention of the wildfires in a 2008 concert. But the 2019 fires seem to be much more extensive. Thank goodness they got rain finally.
Great TH-cam of the best band ever. But song #7 "Carols by Candlelight 1989: " does NOT look right, is that a copy band? I have seen Judith in many recordings, this does not look like her. The number is great but please write in the list, if it is a copy band.
Judith Durham left the group in 1968 to pursue a solo career. (The final concert is here on TH-cam. ) Between then and when the original lineup reformed The Seekers had various lineup changes Two of those other lineups are featured in this video. One with Julie Anthony as lead singer ( you can hear the announcer thank Julie at the end...) and one with Karen Knowles as lead singer. They were both official versions of the band, so the video title is correct. Wikipedia has more information.
And here we are in 2024 and let’s hope this Christmas the nations will return to singing carols of Our King,

The Seekers actually haven’t sung together for some years. They are in their 80s. Judith was the youngest of them

Gosto muito! Melhor no meu caso a tradução em português brasil...
Anyone know how the Seekers are managing all the wildfires in Australia? Looking very serious all along the Eastern coast.
I know Keith resides in Braidwood, New South Wales, which was pretty much surrounded by fire! I trust he's OK.
They are no strangers to it for sure. I know Bruce made a special mention of the wildfires in a 2008 concert. But the 2019 fires seem to be much more extensive. Thank goodness they got rain finally.
does it really snow in astuarlia
Beautiful. 🌎🇦🇺🏏🙏💯❤️ 34:25
Athol Guy is to the Seekers what Hank Marvin was to the Shadows. The Seekers were and are fantastic
Must be the glasses!
Waltzing Matilda
That is not Judith Durham at their return to the bowl ... why would you include 2 singers with the seekers in this video that are not Judith ...
Wow I had forgotten how truly Christian we were and how quickly we now have succumbed to Satan’s dominion in every facet of our lives!

Thank you @@Mrmusicfromthestars 👍
I've now clarified the video description - thanks. 👍
Do I get to see comment.
Who is the lead singer?
Which part? There are 3 .
nooo
Judith? No. Too tall, different face and voice.
