I thought I was the only one in Delhi NCR to care about these things! Great to see a fellow knowledgeable enthusiast, also with billion dollar film companies releasing their main trailers in 2 channel sound, you took the pain to mix it and post it in TH-cam in Dolby 5.1! That deserves mad respect, truly appreciate this effort!
Thank you for watching the video! I do have quite advanced level knowledge about these stuff. I tweet a lot. But it’s tough for me to make it in video form because of my obsession with high quality. I’ll upload atleast 6-7 more such videos.
Thanks for praising the 5.1 mix. I have been mixing most of my videos in 5.1 since 2015, I’m very comfortable at it. Mixing 5.1 for me is as easy as stereo. But I didn’t used to upload in the format earlier because I thought TH-cam won’t ever support it (I was so wrong! 😅). This video however is very basic 5.1 mix. But I can very well make advanced mixes with dynamic panning. I’ll plan and do that in some video for fun!
Great to know buddy, my obsession with this stuff started when I was 10 years old, been trying to build the ultimate home theater ever since! (A very niche and expensive hobby, especially in India)
Too obsessed with how a movie sounds, both Bollywood and Hollywood and since then want to recreate the experience at home.
And yes, although it is a basic 5.1 mix, the effort is more than basic, it is extraordinary because like I said even the film studios and even billion dollar music artists don't post in multi channel sound, they have only recently started posting in 4K SDR, till last year it was 1080p SDR 2 channel non sense they all used to post, I used to download proper D Cinema trailers from websites like thedigitaltheater and many more before it.

The way you explained what does ghosting in 3d mean was so subtle n smart. Also, your editing was very clever with your small circular video moving from right side to the left so that the screen isn't covered from your Circular frame. 💯💯 Also your transition in storytelling of going through steps n then taking lift go down n then coming up by escalator was in point because all the 3 ways got covered in the video unintentionally 👌🏻

@@ShreyTyagi Only the Sound system at PXL Orion Mall managed to impress me as good as an IMAX Sound system. So far IMAX lacked the height FX that gave Atmos an advantage. Now IMAX comes with height speakers so it should sound better in terms of Surround FX.
But the issue is, only a few NEW IMAX theatres will have this setup, not the existing ones, so Atmos gains an advantage here.
Anyway, thanks for your in depth videos. I'll be waiting for more such theatre related videos. And do share some of the best theatres/audis that you've visited so far. This will help people like me to make it a point to visit there.

I was in Canada when I watched Oppenheimer 70mm IMAX in original IMAX theatre the screen was huge like close to 4 story apartment. And resolution was 18K or something they even gave me piece of 70mm IMAX film

Shrey, what a decent video. For a moment I thought your channel would have 1M subscribers. Also, though you gave a nice intro, but its quite contradictory for a digital IMAX theatre to house a non IMAX projector. The barco projector model you suggested is used in any normal single screen theatre which is highly up2date with today's tech. But its not the case here. If a theatre is labelled as IMAX, it has to have IMAX proprietary equipment including its legacy and one of its kind projector. Its impossible to get a clarity like that of an IMAX projector anywhere in todays world.
All IMAX digital projectors are manufactured by Barco. IMAX tweaks them a bit.

What is the best seat number to watch in this cinema.

They are setuped with Dolby atmos 12 channel sound system ( 7.1.4 )
It has a height speaker behind screen as well. And there is no dedicated channel for bass. So you can call it similar to 7.0.5 instead of 7.1.4

Ambience Mall IMAX is small. 2K and 6 channel sound. While Priya is 4K and 12 channel sound.

This screen maybe big but the largest & the best IMAX screen in Delhi NCR is of Pvr Logix Noida. If they upgrade the projector from Xenon to Laser this theatre will become even more awesome !!!

Do we have any Dolby cinemas in Delhi that use 4k dual laser projectors or at the minimum single 4k laser?
The AMC theatres in US as well as Regal Dolby cinemas have 4k dual laser projectors and 216 independent channel surround speakers in the AMCs

Sound quality wise, Priya without a doubt. Video quality is slightly better in Select City Walk but it is too small.

PVR Priya is ten times better than Select City Walk. I’ve seen 4 movies at SSW, 2 at Priya.
Best theatre for 4DX in Delhi NCR would be Cinepolis Premium 4DX at DLF Avenue, Saket.

@@sammflick9387 No SSW is not dual laser. It’s single laser CoLa. Projector is good but screen is among the smallest in Delhi. Audi architecture is bad. 12-channel sound is not there (fake marketing).
Priya has twice as large screen, 12-channel sound, latest projector. So no, there’s no comparison between these two at all. I don’t even consider SSW an IMAX.

Logix imax noida has bigger screen than this n sound quality is almost same so better option in my view.
Logix has bigger screen but sound quality in Priya is much better. I have been to both twice. Logix is 2K projection while Priya has 4K.
Is it better than Logix Noida Imax which was one of the first IMAX in Delhi NCR and which is better if you have experienced both in terms of sound quality and picture quality specially for 3d Movies.
I have been to Logix twice, and Priya 5 times.
Yes, Priya is better than Logix in terms of picture quality and sound. Logix is better in terms of seating, audi architecture and screen size. But overall, Priya is better because it has Laser 4 projector and 12-channel sound which is much better than Logix. Difference between screen size of Logix and Priya is only 4 feet.

Even though I am almost sure that this is the largest IMAX in India with the 4k laser, what was the IMAX you were talking about that has a 70ft wide screen, and what is its height?
Logix IMAX is 71ft with 2K Xenon projector.

I personally liked rajouri garden ka Vishal mall IMAX more. Have you ever gone there ? The screen and sound quality was better. I went to this Priya imax for Deadpool 3 and one weird thing happened. They didn't check our tickets 😂 that was very unusual. Did that happen to you to ?

Is it the largest screen Imax at present in Delhi?
also i have seen people calling many Imax in delhi to be just not what imax are supposed to be, i went to Australia long back where they had this world largest Imax and it has huge, that experience of watching titanic in 3D on that majestic screen was out of the world. Well I heard that its closed and the largest imax is in Leonberg, Germany and that's some different out of the world size but isn't it possible to have a decent IMAX size screen in delhi, why dont theaters do so. The one in saket is just a gimmic nothing else. After looking at Priya Vasant's screen size, the one at saket looks soo small. I have never seen a movie here but will try to watch Dune in the coming week. Sorry for writing this long, your videos are amazing in every aspect. keep it up bhaiya.
Priya is 3rd largest. Logix 71ft, Vegas 70ft, Priya 67ft.
The kind of experience you are talking about is only possible in Gujarat Science City IMAX. But sitting on a seat closer to screen in Vegas, Logix or Priya will also give you a very IMAX worthy experience.

Bro, great video. I have visited IMAX Gurgaon, Noida Logix, and Saket Select City Mall, and will visit here very soon. I have a question, 60k ke andr konsa phone best hai video reacording (quality and performance) ke liye?
Priya is at another level when compared to the three you’ve mentioned, I visited all of them.
For video recording, no phone comes close to iPhone 13 under 60k. If you can get iPhone 14, even better.
For photos, some androids are far better, but strictly for videos, iPhones are unbeatable.

The guy with me, Kaustubh lives in Hyderabad and watches all his movies at PCX. He told me that PCX felt wider. But this Gujarat IMAX is much taller.
Dolby atmos cinema hall ka sound jayda aacha rehta hai ki imax ka? Poorana film yeh dillagi ; gupt; josh; mohra; baadshah yeh sab abhi imax main lage toh kaisa sound dega ?
IMAX ke special speakers hote hain. Normal movie accha sound nahi karta. Agar IMAX vaale enhance karein tabhi IMAX speakers mein achha sound karega.
Toh yeh sab movie jo aapne bola, ye agar IMAX enhance karega tabhi achha lagega IMAX mein.
Agar ek movie Dolby Atmos aur IMAX dono mein lagi hai, toh IMAX ka sound overall zyada achha hota hai.
