Absolutely. Combat troops need supplies, obviously. LOGs bring it. However, LOG is one of the biggest regiments in the CF. You don’t necessarily have to go to combat. You can be a career Corporal like many others. The pay is ok, but your responsibility is relatively low. Those who go where they are asked tend to get promoted more quickly, but they face more responsibility along with their increase in pay.
