Makes one wonder if the author understands what a spincast reel is. Three of the 10 “nest” are not spincasters (two are straight spinning reels and one is a baitcaster).

Zebco omega z03 pro is nothing like the spincasts we grew up with, they actually out perform many of my baitcasters because they never birds nests, and have 7 ball bearings, and all metal gears make it extremely reliable for fishing every day .I've landed many species weighing over 12lbs and it did the job just fine. 5 stars 🌟!! A professional reel 100%.....not a kids or beginner reel in any way, you're in the big leagues with this one for sure.

I don't like the fact that you can't backreel like you can with a cheaper classic. I always fkish freespool with the drag as tight as it goes. If you've never done this, you're missing out, it's a blast. What you're really doing is fighting the fish with the rod. rather than the reel. On my zebco 33, I have about 15 yards of mono backing and fill the real with ten pound fireline, sometimes 8 pound. I also have an old micro classic zebco reel that still works great. About 15 yards of backing filled with 6 pound fireline.

I bought this reel, and after a few tries I noticed some problems at the end of the rewinding because the spool is fixed and does not go back and forth which prevents the fishing line from rewinding evenly

Spincast reels with good bearings and improved retrieval speed are great! I would love to see a spincast reel optimized for braid or heavier (15 - 10 lb) monofiliment line.

You can already use braid on them if you so choose. I have a buddy who fishes tournaments... Uses 2 baitcaster for pitching,dropping & skipping... Usually as backup..but if his skipping.. usually using one. And if you want or need a bigger reel. Go with a saltwater one. My wife uses one with a nicer rod... No real issues to speak of.. pretty sure it's a Zebco or a Diawa.. not sure though

Zebcos definetly best in the buisness when it comes to spin cast reels. I have a omega pro and my dad has the bullet so we both have some time with both and definitely the bullet is better but they are both awesome depending on your price range

I think the big difference on Zebco is that the spinning fishing line spool goes back and forth to even out the fishing line on the spool, this is not the case on the Kastking

Spinning reels are NOT spincast reels. Bait cast reels are NOT spincast reels. If you don't know the difference what you say about the various reels are obviously just regurgitations of the manufacturer's sales literature.
