- WM Hope Foundation supports over 100 adolescents (mostly orphaned) that have been infected with HIV by providing scholarship funds for them to go to school. People living with HIV continue to face some kind of stigma from the society and we as foundation, recognize that it’s not enough to just provide the funds for our kids to go to school.
WM Hope Foundation has created a sense of community and support group for the kids where they can meet to encourage each other, and also visit their peers in different schools to educate them on HIV/AIDS and how they can protect themselves from the virus or how they can still live an abundant life if infected.
In the past, the kids have met under tents, in different people’s home, etc. We would like to change this by building an all inclusive center with a food bank, a library and various education programs. One of the things that is imperative to making sure the HIV medication is effective is maintaining a healthy diet and most of our kids do nothing have access to basic nutritious food. This center will make make sure that they have meals on a daily basis.
With your help, we can make this happen. Please donate any amount that you can to this great cause.
