@10pennsy It is a really nice slicer. Handle one before you buy it just to make sure you like it. It feels a little different in the hand than you'd think it would just by looking at it. I like it a lot but I am a goofball. It works great in the kitchen.
That must be a great knife and I have the BK2 which is nice also and it does what I want from a knife. I have many knives and they are for various tasks and the knife I got from Ka-Bar is great and the handle is well designed and the blade is sharp and does what I want from it.
It adds to the cutting and slicing performance, it also reduces the weight of the blade making it fast and nimmble for a big knife, adss to the balance too, what's not like?

I'm glad I got one. Picked it up from Amazon last fall for $53, shipped. I'm not loving the sheath or scales, though. They will be replaced soon.
