Hello Raniemi, I severely doubt you're reading this but in the off chance that you are then I really do hope you're doing well. Honestly, best case scenario is that you don't actually read this comment as you've probably moved on or at least mostly moved on by this point in 2024, nearly 2025, and so me bringing up old wounds might not be the best idea, I apologise in advance if something like that does happen, do take this as your warning to stop reading if you'd like. But I would like to apologise and bring some sort of solace if possible, even though I never partook in anything against you (I wasn't even apart of the community during that time, having only gotten into the community during summer of 2021, a couple months after you quit), my perspective of you was very indifferent, until today. On one hand, you had an incredibly talented player, the highest ranked SS player etc. but on the other hand there was a player with a suspiciously low playcount, setting insane scores with a not so common playstyle, which when confronted, refused to do a liveplay for a long time and had turned down $1800 to set a 480(?)+pp score on bancho. After reading back on this, it does kinda seem like I'm calling you out for this but that genuinenly isn't my intention, I'm just trying to explain my thought process as to why I my view of you was always indifferent. I wasn't sure what to believe and apart of me did hold a lot of suspicion towards you. I have to admit though that this was definitely due to my ignorance and lack of effort to look into it further, just going ahead and believing the few things I heard about you and basing my perception upon that. Which is something I deeply regret, with the past hour of research leading me to dig up things I wish were never true. I had no idea of the things you had to go through, the pain you had to endure. Not just from the osu! community but your personal life too. And finally, after looking through the evidence and your liveplay, it's 100% clear that you aren't a cheater in any way, and never were. I genuinely feel so dumb for blindly believing things without knowing what was truly going on for you/the bigger picture, and waiting until 3 years after I had heard about you to look into the entire Raniemi situation. And my conscience wont feel any better unless I apologise, even if it's many years late and falls on deaf ears, and so from the bottom of my heart, I'm so sorry, I really am. I'm seriously happy to know that you are still alive too, and I wish you an amazing rest of your life, you deserve it. Take care Raniemi and just know that know that no matter how untold your story is, I wont forget a legendary player like you, never have and never will.
i never really knew you as player at all, i only found out about you recently when i asked another ss player who the highest ranked ss player was. I am so sorry you had to leave because of other people pushing you while you were already going through something awful. It pains me to see people taking their accusations so far as to bully someone, all over a game about clicking circles. I hope you find stability soon in your life and that if you ever come back, people don't discard you as a fraud and welcome you back with respect.
Its sad that you dont like liveplays like this. It was pretty satisfying and enjoyable to watch it and i know that im not alone with that. This might be a "one-time-only" video, but maybe thats changing in the future :> But do whats comfortable for you, we Support you :3
