Beautiful tribute. I'm grateful TK's sermons and discussions are on Yt. I listen and heart learn daily.

Tim Keller was a true evangelist in heart, mind, soul, word, deed, character, life & death. Look forward to seeing him again in the life to come. Thank you for sharing. We were blessed to occupy the same moment as History.

This man of God has continued to speak to me in both his life on this earth and his life beyond. He was and is a force ❤

Thank you so much for this episode. I was shaken by his death. I discovered Tim Keller during the pandemic, and his talks were a turning point for my faith walk. I will miss him too, and miss all the talks he will not give, but am so thankful so much of his work has been recorded so that we can still derive hope and understand scripture better thanks to his legacy.

I have a hunch that TK would have tea & crumpets with Jesus daily! He had such a beautiful way about talking about Jesus like he actually knew Him intimidatory, you can just tell… see you on the other side!

I found Dr. Keller so winsome, so charming as he called people to come to Jesus.

We have his sermons, but I will greatly miss these ad-hoc Q&As on current cultural events from a Christian worldview.

    Just WHO is Russell Moore????
I think I could do without his narratives
on this..🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I’d rather listen to Tim
    himself….tbh….but then, I’m English 🇬🇧
and not long ago ‘found’ Tim online ….
    A great man…..inspirational and he’s so
brilliant at discussing his beliefs etc….
He is surely with Our Lord now….!🙏🙏✝️
And also…..he seemed to have a lot of courage,
more than I think I would have 🤦‍♀️….
I really wish I could have physically MET him
and drank tea 🫖 and had an interesting
discussion ……to me, he is fairly easy to understand
unlike so many other Evangelical speakers I’ve encountered
especially in the USA 🇺🇸 and therefore online……
Mentioning no names, but there it is!…….
Ps believe me, I’ve met some NOT so appealing clergy
either here in the UK 🇬🇧…..which is very disappointing
and off putting!……….(don’t ask! 🤦‍♀️)…..I would be here
    all day!! Sad, really……

First, condolences to Tim Keller’s family. Second, it’s a shame that he never embraced the LGBTQ community. Sad. Third, forgiveness takes a lifetime in some cases. We are all human and this notion of forgive and forget in a day or two and just skip around loving everyone has got to go. If you can get to a place where you see that person as broken and pray for them and wish them well, then that’s progress. Of course you’re going to be angry! Anger is normal. We deal with it and it’s messy. And dealing with it might take years. Maybe a decade. It’s hard. Cut yourself and others some slack. Forgiveness is a long, hard painful process at times. Especially is someone did something traumatic and horrible to you.

I found the Comparision to Rev Billy Graham to be rather Comical!

      Why?

    • @Texasbird026
      @Texasbird026 ปีที่แล้ว

I think he is referring to Christian influence at their respective moments in history, but I get this may be hard to compare because the world was so different during their eras.
