Firing up the 385xp with an after market 390 piston and cylinder on it. Also some info on the math and numbers. Thanks 1000 Subs!!! Saw Greater: / yotaismygame Thanks again Buddy!
Wow really appreciate the shoutout! You are correct about about my saw brand being juicedsaws. “Saw greater” my channel came before I got into porting and well... I like the name... Thanks again, can’t wait to see some cutting footage.
@@yotaismygame so exhuast opened at 98* duration was 164* tranfers opened at 128* so 104* duration wich is the worst part. Then intake opens at 101* so 158* duration.
Haha ya, I just got this one tuned and cutting good but the base gasket stuff is leaking a small amount now, I got some loctite 518 comming. That will fix the problem.
Nice work, you can initially grind the nikasil down round the transfers, and the other ports prior to working in them with diamond burrs, this will stop the nikasil chipping off. Well done on the 1000 subs, and really appreciate the shout out. Take care and stay safe.. 🏴👍😁
I do like how you're not necessarily a brand loyal fanatic. You own husky and stihl as do I both brands in your fleet are better then one i say. And a dash of echo doesn't hurt ya one bit either. Like I mentioned this kinda stuff is outta my element but its impressive that you partake in saw surgery. Congrats again on 1K subs this channel is picking up some steam my friend!
Glad to see it going. Cool you were able to get machine work done. I’d like a lathe but they’re pricey for a decent one. Is machine work reasonably priced?
Well he charged me 100 because I paid cash. But he had to make a 54mm arbor to fit inside the cylinder so he could turn it. So he said he could do it quicker next time prolly 50 bucks. Also next time I would get the squish band done. So I dunno 100 isn't bad. I told him if he comes across an old lathe I want it lol.

Was the meteor cylinder close with the numbers, nice video.
Yes very close, The blowdown was a bit higher.
@@PoplarMechanic Quality better on the meteor maybe would explain the blow down.
@@maxxwalters2829 ya it's hard to say, the hiway seemed really good. I have had good luck with meteor in the past.
Looking good 👍
Thanks Greg 👊
@@PoplarMechanic Master, is it possible to pour 33: 1 husqvarna ls + to drink 372xp 357xp and scythe 545rx? Will not jam the piston rings with carbon?
