    Have exactly this board 166W and I'm totally happy with it!

      Hopefully you see this, I'm 6'5 or ~196 cm tall and was wondering how it scales to you

    Hey, love your videos. I’m an intermediate rider, 175 cm tall and 67kg . What size of the custom do u recommend? Thanks!

      Check out the 150 or 154 (bit.ly/30Cs7dD) based on your weight.

    Can’t decide base on your review over 2020 Burton Custom vs Custom X snowboard. I’m an intermediate rider, ride mostly groom trials, like speed and curving; not brave enough for jumps yet. I want the best board which seem like the X but your review seem the X is not really flexible and can be tough to ride.

    I’m trying to decide on a new board. The 2021 custom was recommended for me. I’ve been wanting to learn butters. For the stiffness are you still able to?

    What you think about buttering on this board?

    Hey, awesome review! Any suggestions on boots and bindings to pair with the Custom 2021? I mainly enjoy carving up groomers, not much park. Looking for an awesome turning and carving experience :)

      One notch up from entry level is usually good....

    Deciding between this and the process. I ride about 7-10 times a year, still strictly blue groomers all day in the Northeast. Size 11.5 boot 210lbs but don't want it too long. Still trying to keep it easy. What size would you recommend and would you go this or burton process if I'm still trying to keep it easy? Demo'd a k2 broadcast, Loved it at high speeds but it was a touch too stiff...

      The Burton Process is going to be a little bit more playful, but still give you a great response and control over the board and your movements. I suggest the 157 wide.

    Last week I rode Process FV in 152,157 and it felt a tad soft and K2 broadcast 156 that felt a lot more solid at higher speed (I know they’re completely different boards). I have Ride Machete 151 and thinking of a new board. Can’t decide between Custom or Custom FV? I’m 5’10 and 140lbs 8.5US. I like to go fast and can carve nicely regular, getting better at riding switch. What do ya reckon? I was looking at custom FV 156 with cartels? TIA

    im 5'11" 185-190 lbs, size 10 US boot. was thinking a 158 would be good for my size? mostly hitting east coast groomers, not too much powder. Also look for side hits and still beginner park stuff. Is a 158 a good size? Thanks!

      @@torgrimgrenersen122 Its a good board even in the pow. rode some 3 foot pow at brighton and it did fine. if you know how to ride you wont sing as much,but with that much snow I was still digging myself out a few times

    What would you say is better for carving on groomers The Superpig, or the Custom camber?

    • @kosycat1
      @kosycat1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a custom. laying pencil lines on east coast steep blacks at 55 mph no problem, the super pig seams fun though! couldn't go wrong with either for carving

    • @thehouse
      @thehouse 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on what your preference in feel is. The reverse progressive sidecut on the SP is much different than what's found in the Custom's radial sidecut feel. The SP dives into turns extremely quick. The Custom will feel more stable and sturdy throughout it's full length.

    I'm 5'9 with a 9.5 boot size and weigh 170. I was thinking of a 156 since I like to ride fast and carve mostly. Should I go for the 154 or 156? I also bought the Malavitas EST to go with the board.

    • @TheHouseProductReviews
      @TheHouseProductReviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I say go with the 154 since the board is so aggressive.

      Actually, in addition to this, would you recommend a burton free thinker or the custom for all mountain riding but more than half the time I’m going to be in the park? Thank you for your help

    • @janitor9
      @janitor9 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jakob Gomez I would recommend the free thinker it is a little more park oriented then the custom

    Deciding between a burton custom or a burton hometown hero... don’t know which to choose.

    • @thehouse
      @thehouse 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Choose the Custom. It's the most refined boards in all of snowboarding that's also had the longest production run. It's been a staple in the Burton lineup because it's one of the most well rounded snowboards in the world.

      @@thehouse Awesome, I think I've made my decision!
      as far as bindings, I heard the cartels are amazing with these, but I was thinking of the Malavitas.

      I’m wondering the same between these two . I’m in az so I’ll hit flagstaff pinetop then do a trip to park city once a year and maybe one other spot (this year whistler.) typically riding groomers, side jumps , will go through the park , some tree cut throughs. Moving up from my first board Burton clash . Should I go custom or process

    • @thehouse
      @thehouse 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a lot of other boards that would be better. Check out the Ripcord and Instigator.

    • @jamesbattifarano381

      I understand they may be better for a beginner but I will only be a true beginner for less than a season because I haven’t been snowboarding for years but I have in the past and I was pretty good. I just feel like none of those boards designs can hold there own to the custom and they in my opinion look pretty baf

    • @damianmb5
      @damianmb5 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Custom is for intermediate to advance riders, it is a full camber and very catchy. Mild camber or flat would be better for beginner unless you are really good at turns.

    Ok found a fantastic price on this one, but I'm 190, 200-205 lbs and shoesize us13, the only board they have for the price is 162W, is that out of the question? (Damn feet)

    • @dtdaun
      @dtdaun 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Checked a snowboarder forum and got the response that 166w is the optimal but that I won't be disappointed with the 162w, I guess it's similar to choosing one version shorter for freestyling.
      Anyway I really hope it works out well, super excited and you really got me hyped on burton.
