Because there isn't enough competition for ghost mushrooms in Skulk Rock already. Can also get from Mara, but these are far more spread out and take far longer to get, so the vast majority of people farming these (at level 50 anyways) is Skulk Rock. I've seen upwards of 15 people (mostly rogues, duids, and shadowpriests) at one time competing for the three nodes that consistently pop up (yes, in various locations amongst those three), so ya, good luck.

Most likely… not sure by how much though. Unless they completely flip the script and add a new metal bar for level 60 crafted gear arcs it’s will be in high demand for the new level known crafted gear and for the new sod gear.
Also every Paladin will want it for the mount right after the phase drops, plus the tier 0.5 requiring arcanite converters.
But given sod the value will be very volatile and may settle lower after a week or two.

Most likely. Provided blizzard buffs all crafted gear for phase 4 they will be in massive demand for so many recipes. Even if they don't there will still be a demand for certain recipes that use arcanite bars.
