Turning
Turning are the tables here before me
Oh but youre so lovely
Lovely as you are I know youll leave me
High up in a tree I cant climb down
But I dont mind the trouble its a magic view
Starin at the pavement under you
Burning
Burning with the new york lights
Im turning
Turning into me it feels like
Heaven heaven
Whoa the hum of silence never seemed so far
But lord its quiet in my heart
I dont even miss
a single blade of grass
papertrails no fingernails
and frozen eyes I never wanna close
instrum..
I would be a fool to miss this magic view
Starin at the ceiling next to you
I'm only discovering Diane here this last year or so. How did I miss this?! I love Diane; she has so much soul.... and heart, for that matter. I play the "live from Daryl's house " episodes with her time and time again
This woman is so sensitive, her words and voice goes directly to my soul. Such a delicate soul...
AMAZING album!!!!!
🔝 🔝 🔝
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
This would make a great addition to a movie soundtrack. Her melodies in the last bit of the song sounds so much like a howling wind. Its beautiful.
I'm singing this in my school talent show next week. :)
i can't get this song out of my head. and i have no problem with that.
If I went on a road trip in my car....this CD will always play until I reach my destination. When I am cleaning, this CD will be playing. Sitting out on the porch chillin, this CD will be heard. When I need to relax and unwind...yep, you guest it...this CD will be on repeat...until my ass fall asleeep
