My dads is stock and is his second car so if exclusively gets used on B-Roads etc... it’s a good car for that BUT the ride isn’t good, however we have the stock seats which make it much better. We are thinking a Cayman S next so we will see! Looking forward to what your getting next. Cheers, Oliver.
Completely agree! Great car for B roads if you want to hoon it around all the time, but the Ride is to firm! Cayman S is an interesting choice! Hopefully you will all enjoy the new car!
Perhaps it’s you? Perhaps you think you enjoy driving cars but you don’t really? Because I have had a I30N since March 2018, and I’m telling you, every time I even KNOW I’m going to be driving it I’m excited. That doesn’t mean I drive it like I’ve stole it, but it’s the look, the sound and the feel all combined. And it’s never gotten old or boring. And with all due respect, I’m not sure an Audi RS3 is going to change how you’re feeling mate?
Crocoman appreciate the comment! And yeah that is the feeling I got with the RS, it was just trusting the thing which was the issue. I get the same feeling with RS3 currently however I also know I can trust it’s probably not going to go wrong!
I sold mine for pretty much the same reason,I loved owning my dream car but how often am I gonna push 400bhp on the road without losing my licence,and i wouldnt of took it on track days,so I've gone for an st which is plenty quick enough to get me about as a daily

Shame you sold the RS, but if you don’t enjoy the car then it is time to change. I doubt I’ll change. I think you’ve gone for bmw m140i or the new Mini Cooper. Look forward to the reveal. My wife is not keen on my RS but she has her own car. What I love about the RS is it’s like owning 3 cars in one. It’s great for the family, it’s fun and it can be a savage when required. As I daily drive mine i tend to use it in normal mode most of the time, but sport mode is only a button push away. 😂
Completely agree! and I don’t blame you it is a great car hands down the best handling car I’ve personally driven! Interesting thoughts on the new cars especially the Mini (not many people would think that!)

I think ford ruined it for themselves early on with the major head gasket issues. I bought an RS may last year and sold it jan this year(party because i was buying a house that needed some tlc) but mainly because it was hard to enjoy the car. Even tho it had all the recall work done, a proper check over from my own mechanic, i was still forever worrying what that little noise is or does it feel different today, is the coolant supposed to be like that, etc etc due to the horror stories they had early on. Shame because they’re great cars and in my opinion would be one of the top in its class/sector if they could offer more peace of mind while owning them 🤷🏼♀️
That has literally summed up my ownership as well! Except from the house part aha the part about you saying it felt different each day, it’s weird I would think the same as well, some times you felt like it was absolutely rapid and the next felt sluggish
JAJ TV yeah in my opinion we only have ford to blame. If they got it right the first time with no major issues then this would be up there with the rs3/a45’s with just the interior behind. In my opinion it drives and looks better than its other rivals but the engine issues and the constant doubts about it ruined the ownership 😂

You basically lost trust which I understand.. I’ve had no problems with mine but yes I get that.. and mate my mrs loves my car 🚙 maybe change the mrs hahahahaha
Michael Hesford yeah it’s difficult when you lose faith in the car, but I think the brand itself could have done a better job at making the ownership experience slightly better, but it’s Ford! We can’t expect miracles aha! My Mrs just hated the firm ride plus I used to scare the crap out off her in it as well 😂
im with you micheal no problems here either, but if you do get a problem it does tint your view on the car, i do like a change aswell, had mine 3.5 years now so looking for something different early next year cheers steve😀

Get a DSG Golf R and do stage 1. Still miss the RS and just had Revo Stage 1 upgrade which has done the trick. Tried to hate the R but I can’t.
I rate the Golf R but I think there are just to many of them about for my liking aha! Great cars though!
