We have been having storms in Colorado the last few nights. It’s supposed to last all week.

My son will be 2 next month and we’ve sadly ended our paci journey. He chewed through his last one we had so I decided to test out the waters and see how he’d do and I’m so thankful it’s been smooth so far. He does cry and ask for it when he wakes up sometimes tho. 🥺

I loved cuddle time with my babies! It was so relaxing & a very special time to spend together! It makes them feel so safe & secure! Celeste, you look amazing! Bellamy is such a good little helper! He is adorable!💖

Girl, don’t feel bad about the pacifier. We didn’t start that process until my little girl was three. We transitioned her from all the time to only nap and night time and then completely got rid of it. You do what you gotta do with a new baby coming ❤ I just had my second one and I do not feel organized at all lol. Prayers for you! You’ve got this!

Where are your pjs from? They look so comfy. I’d wear them to the gym.

My son is almost 2 and still uses a pacifier for naps and bedtime!! The reason im commenting is because we just took him to the pediatric dentist and they said they recommend it until 3!! It reduces risks of sids and also helps with teething! Just wanted to share because i feel so much mom guilt with the paci and a physical professional for teeth said they recommend it!!!

I’ve heard the exact opposite from a Dr. Drs and their opinions aren’t always correct. that’s why you trust your God given mom intuition.

@@akilbourne can i ask what kind of doctor? Because our normal pediatrician says the opposite but then the pediatric dentist told us this!

If it helps I’m a pediatric dental hygienist and we recommend trying to get rid of them before age 3. This will give the jaw and teeth time to hopefully go back into proper occlusion. If it last after 3 years old you’re more likely to have lasting effects and require braces (obviously differs for kiddos) and I should note both of my kids used pacifiers.

@@KellyHastingss we also used a paci with our three so no shame at all. We were told from a pediatric dentist and our pediatrician to ditch the paci by age two. I can’t even remember what their reasoning was at the time. Bottom line is, do what works for you! If you and your child are happy, that’s all that matters 😊

Some of the best sunsets come after rain 😍 Congrats on getting some early morning Bible time in! Do you think during newborn life this round you’ll find yourself switching to audiobook Bible more to maximize your lap/hands availability or do you know moms who can juggle it all with a hard copy?

Both my boys loved their pacifier! They were like 3 1/2 by the time I took it away...my pediatrician always said don't worry about that, you don't see an adult walking around with one..lol 😂

I know this is too late now, but for reference to anyone else watching this or a future pregnancy, if you take a warm bath with magnesium flakes (or Epsom salt) and/or sea salt the minerals help your muscles relax and improve sleep. I love taking a bath at night while pregnant to unwind after a long day. I can really feel a difference in my joints the next day if I skip my nightly bath.
