I got caught out by this video......Was watching it and every now and then there is a "beep" which is the exact same sound to my house/workshop PIR sensors when the battery is flat. I eventually realized it was on Scott's video.......but not after visiting the alarm panel to see what battery was low.
All that salt air moisture on the boat trip from the USA to your area got that screen a lil moisturized ..... LOL.... You could almost see those spicy pillows growing like donuts frying in the grease ....... I was looking every other day on those recycle /Ewaste companies for a HP8657 signal generator , I always got outbidded . The good companies test and warranty their test equipment ...... I finally found a HP8657 that a ham club had for sale on ebay . One of their members is a engineer / tech and decided to donate his older sig gen...... 5 volt rail went south after I got it ..... Hard to find those old GENUINE voltage regulators , but I found one ..... Stay safe Mon Ami ......
Although I use an SSD as the main drive on my computers, I use a spin drive for backups. What are your thoughts about using a SSD as a backup drive. I believe the spin drive is less likely to lose data compared to SSD drives, but, they don't compare to the speed of SSD drives.
The SSD data retention is likely to outlive either you yourself or your ability to not misplace it. Hard drives are very risky in a mechanical regard. Servers rarely spin them down because they are known to just up and die, never spinning back up after spinning down. To conclude: you're fine to use SSD drives for backups!
@@bblod4896 I hope it helps you make a decision! SSDs are cheaper than ever nowadays. Heck, it's cheaper for me to get a 2TB SSD than a 2TB hard drive at the moment! 🫠
@@addhoardingprocrastinator a nice sounding myth that doesn’t actually fix anything, far more effective to sit it in front of an air conditioner or dehumidifier.
22:55 oh spicy pillows

Now order a spare for these, when they arrive you order a spare for them😅 infinity
I’ve seen that display failure on iphones, usually it’s the negative power line missing
2015 macbook pro is still user upgradable. I'd do an NvME storage upgrade. You just need to order an NvME to mac adapter.
You could use those batteries as a pillow lol are you going to do video replacing them? The batteries

Same, OS is on ssd and all the data in usual hdd.
Both running. But lately it’s a mess on hdd’s, I have to make a cleanup

hey have you tried to fix an xbox one wifi card.
Stop getting mac crap and get a real pc
Lol
PC's are awful, I use both and the Mac's are so much better.
That great old debate!……..I’ve used both and Windows PC’s are streaks ahead of MAC’s. Not to mention $$$$$$
MacBook Pro from 2016 and 2017 = "Flexgate" utterly and unforgivably ridiculous!
