Yzuei, you and Scrapman are truly the reason I enjoy playing Trailmakers. Before discovering your channels, I struggled to build even the simplest of planes, let alone make them look good. You've both inspired me so much, and I have countless fond memories of watching your videos and following your builds. Thank you for creating such amazing content and for the joy you've brought into my gaming experience.
@@Yzuei Yeah Yzuei you also helped me out! I kinda figured out how to make stuff from you! Like those flares, and some other stuff. Thanks to you, Scrapman, Logictive, and all the other big Trailmakers content creators.
That's pretty cool and solid work. Put it on a missile truck and add a camera onboard with either a manual or proximity warhead detonation. essentially becomes an FPV missile for the next multiplayer session. The target should hunt down the launch platforms around the map before they get shot down
Suggestion: 2v2 two missiles try to take out a 2player airplane. The airplane will have a mouse controlled turret with camera module for the second player, to shoot down the missiles. Of course after release of the update.
Would have to be limited otherwise you have people with 700 complexity nukes that are just a giant brick of dynamite, which the limit would probably ruin the fun of it a bit
@@Capedkarnage I run scrap mechanic at up to 300 fps ( I usually keep it capped to 80) but trailmakers hovers around 25-30 no matter what I do with the settings. It's far from optimized
if you want to be able to lock on to your target faster, add a weapon with no auto aim and disable controls to have an aiming reticle. Makes aiming easier than to hope you are aligned properly with your target. 🎯
hi Yzuei, maby you could add some boosters on the side of the rocket for the launch and let them fall of after those 5 seconde (for the boosters you could use space thrusters for this)
Hey, great video, but I have an idea, a missile that has no explosives, but instead has magnets that have a duration of 8-10 seconds and basically have to try and RKO a plane or try to pick up a car and drop it
If you use the rc bug connected via logic it should allow you to remotely control the missile( I’m meaning that you would have the camera control device on the base that stays on the ground, and connect it via logic, though I do see some problems with doing that, you would have to make it so the mechanism is restated in the same direction the missile is
Yzuei I hope you know power storm did this a better way in the more effective way he didn’t use no sensors or distant sensors. He just put the aiming servo on the wing.
mouse guided bombs would not work well, you would have to make them huge in order to fit the necessary logic (mind you that the aiming servos lose control if dis connected), you would have to have the rc bug going in both ways to make a missile(or bomb) that is guided from a part that is not attached
@@the_avrage_gamer_king although a mouse guided bomb would be cool, able to make small course corrections on the way to a target, maybe add alittle thrust, not enough to make it a missile, but enough to let it not free fall
Cool video! Could you use angle sensors instead of distance sensors? This way, when on the measure or normalize setting the controls might be more precise as the flaps may move more gradually, depending on the size of the angle.
I thought about that too and unless there's some sort of weird interaction specifically with the gyrostabs and aim servos I don't see why it wouldn't. I've used gyrostabs on rotating servos to tilt hovering aircraft before so I know for a fact the concept is solid.
Yo Yzuie, if you flip the aiming servo over so the sensor part is the part attatched to the vehicle you can have rear fin steering because it will point the vehicle towards the cursor instead of the fins! Please feel free to share this info, I hope it helps anyone with builds that they want to have mouse steering with!
By attaching a camera block, with a two-seat fighter plane, (and maybe shrinking the design a bit) an actual air-to-surface missile could be made! Great video!
It is also a lot more smaller and you can make it even smaller if you put in the effort, but the system can’t get any smaller than what you made it and also why are you using a rocket thruster? I’m not trying to be a hater but that’s a 20 power cores
I don't know about using the aiming servos. But, I would like to see you use logic to make an aircraft that can pick up the Cargo Containers and deposit them onto the Aircraft Carrier with more finesse. Get Scrapman in on it, and revisit that competition. The new logic is excellent for it!
I'm not great with the logic but I was able to use a miniguns auto aim to trigger distance sensors and get a long range missile to make some minor adjustments after watching you and scrap use hover missiles from one island to another. I'm sure you'd ve able to fine tune it though
Leave it to Yzuei to figure out how to go outside the box and make something designed for aiming guns and turn it into steering. I love it. I don't know if it's possible (to fit) or would even help, but what if you put a small gun under the seat to give you a reticle for extra aiming? Also, if you put a camera on the nose and fly by it, does that break the controls since it's based on the camera position?
dang Yzuei you're on an uploading spree I also have an idea for a video. it's a 2V2 thing where 2 people have jets and 2 people have missiles (the missiles should be fast but not too fast) and the 2 jets will have to intercept those missiles before they reach their target
The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
Have you tried crafting a 2 stage rocket? First stage decent speed and control; 2nd stage is supersonic/ ludicrous speed. First stage in 3rd person 2nd stage in first.
Once (if) they add some sort of rc system, these missiles will be amazing 😁 launched from a truck or maybe even like the trident missiles on submarines
Yo,you could make a missle sub by having separate seats in replace of the seat, and have like a 10 second timed detachment, before your able to launch it- or even make space launch and disconnect it at the same time-?
how about a plane that uses the mouse aiming to direct control surfaces instead of gyros should be possible when attaching a wing-piece or a fin to the new block
Why don’t you just simply use fins on the aiming servo? Like in the aim 9 missile irl, make the front „canards“ (idk?) point towards the target and the fins in the back stationary? Also maybe someone can help me here: do the aiming servos work without a seat directly attached?
