I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is July 16, 2023. Today is The 7th Sunday after Pentecost. This passage from St. Matthew was our Gospel Lesson of the Day. It was also the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "The Sower and the Seed." And on this day, let us pray for audiologists amd also for farmers who grow food for our world. This is what both of my beloved grandfathers did.
