Would love to know the workflow here..how you get the notes into the tool to begin with, how you define the pitch lines and develop all the inflections a real singer would ..how you tweak the voice like that is truly amazing, I have Natalie but she sounds nothing like this out of the box, no idea how you get her sounding so different, like an entirely different singer..

hi! thank you so much for the kind comment 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
      - to get the notes into the tool you can either draw them in or import an external midi... fortunately i was lucky enough that the original producer released an untuned (unedited) SVP (project file)!
      - for tuning (pitch) honestly a lot of it comes with trial and error, as well as analyzing how other people tune and how real singers modulate their pitch. i've been using vocal synths for about 3 years now, so i've had quite a bit of time to practice. and honestly for the tone, i simply put on the "Bold" and "Soulful" vocal modes to 150%, which accounts for the large difference in tone compared to her usual softness. hope this helps!

Very cool the SVP was released from the original! Was it an actual svp or the midi files? I found the midis but can’t find the svp..
I tried setting those to 150%, she sounds different for sure, but still nowhere near what you have haha…she’s still very inexpressive compared to yours, you somehow have this very cool raspy, kinda bluesy tone and attitude in her voice, it’s hard to describe and it’s just so hard to believe that can all be created from tuning alone! I have produced many vocals over the years and understand how you can mess around to some extent but what you have here is next level change to her tone, like I have a gentle broadway singer compared to say you having Jessie J or similar in your studio..visually I can see your intonation lines are very wide compared to what the AI generates and yes a couple settings at 150%, other than that, totally unclear what explains the total tone shift! Anyway don’t mean to bombard you with questions and comments on YT, and no stress at all if not open to it but if there is some preset you have for this tone and sound that could turn my Natalie into something closer to yours, I’d happily pay you for it and/or for some of your time to talk live to discuss your method in more detail!

from what i remember, the files provided had lyrics already inputted... so you should be good to directly import the midi files into synthv! they can store lyric information.
and for the raspy, bluesy tone: a lot of that can be chalked up to both the pitch modulation as well as the way the ai interprets this pitch information; many time a large bend changes pronunciation, or adds features such as vocal fry or a different tone to the vocals. the large downwards pitch bend combined with a short step up often yields a very strong attack and supported note, while a fast transition up to a note with large vibrato tends to create a very soft tone, often entering the singer's head or falsetto range. if you'd like, we can talk more on discord (_quacc#1305) twitter (@quacc14) or through email (quaccduck@gmail.com)! i'd be happy to provide my files as well as some tips on tuning!
and i actually do not have any preset for my vocals, when i tune a song i fit the tuning to the song, instead of trying to find a singer preset for the song. i find that it yields a better result, and allows me to use this program for its intended use: the creation of an (almost) fully custom singing voice

Yeah the words were definitely in the files which was very handy, and amazing to know how much can be achieved with those pitch modulation techniques, it sounds like you’ve even somewhat exceeded what the developers themselves perhaps even had in mind haha..thanks for the contacts, that’d be fantastic, I’ll get in touch!
