So sharp.. A shame Myles has to seem it.. A jewel for sure, BEFORE you started the buff and shine. But AFTER? HOLY MOLY!! What a beauty.. You sure you aren't going to miss this car, Myles? Great little snippet, Scott!! Thank you both for sharing with us!! Peace and love from Parma, Michigan!!
Scott - This is Al from Montana. Thought you might like to here about the youngster (about 21) I ran into today. He was driving a pea green and white 1960 Biscayne four door. It was in much the samr shape as Myles Strato Streak including the 235 straight six 3 speed maual with O/D. The best part is he had his very blonde girlfriend sitting next to him on the bench. i chatted for several minutes and he said it was his grandfathers car that he inherited. So much for all youngsters being plugged into computer games.
Myles! how could you! That is a very rare base car, the Ace of Base at least. Oh well, some one will be proud of it just like you were. Thaks for sharing it with us.
I always enjoy Myles’ projects. I will miss this jewel, but I know that Myles will find it a good home. I cannot wait to see what new project he pulls up in next. Cheers guys. 🍻
Scott, a true "gleaming the cube" episode! That Poncho is shining with pride as it goes off to market! Shame to have to sell it now! Thanks to you and Myles if the new owner keeps up on the wax they'll have a brand new looking unit for years to come! Hey I got my 37 Chevy Tee and she's a beauty! Mega Cheers till Sat!
Man, I love that beast. She might be an old six and 3-speed, but that's the way I like 'em! Funny - every time I saw it, I hoped your hands would itch so bad that she got 'the treatment' and came away looking a million bucks, because I could see that paint just wanted to shine deeply - it just needed a prod in the right direction. It looks absolutely shit hot now, dammit.....and because of this, Myles is going to want more for it than I can afford! You guys could imagine that wonderful car driving around the highways in New Zealand, couldn't you? Hey - here's an idea. Get Dean to do one of his Greasy Flips on it! It could still be mine at his prices! Haha! Man, she cleaned up well. Tell Myles he's not to let the new big black beasty go as long without getting her to look her best. If she's got it, why not flaunt it? Haha! Anyway, all the best and I'll look forward to seeing the Sunday (my time) show in a couple of days, but this was definitely worth viewing so thanks for setting the camera up and letting it roll.
I would have a very difficult time selling this car if it were mine. My first car was a 1965 Pontiac Stratochief, when I think about all the dumb things I did to that poor car… Now next to impossible to find one like this. Cheers 😊
First thing. I just got my 37 Chevy shirt, and it's fantastic. I'm very happy. Second thing. The Pontiac looks wonderful with the stock wheels and dog dishes back on it . Sorry to see it go. Looks great. I'd love to have that. See you Saturday .
What a transformation! Years ago, my late brother dragged a red '70 Valiant out of a garage it had been stashed in for 20+ years. It was a good, solid, rust free, low mileage car but the paint was heavily chalked from rims to roof. He was skeptical that the finish could be saved, but I spent eight hours on it and it came out looking like that. It seemed like I took ten pounds of paint off it! His mind was blown and people wouldn't believe that the car hadn't been repainted. Very satisfying!
Looks amazing! It's such a rich deep red buffed out. My 65 Impala was practically pink when I bought it, and with some buffing and polishing by hand it became a beautiful red. It would have been even better if I had the power equipment and proper cosmetics like you have. Somebody is going to snap that up as soon as it goes up for sale. Too bad today's paint / clearcoat burns away in under 10 years.
Your polishing out of the Strato Chief reminds me of my younger days when my brother and I were in the car collecting phases of our lives (much to our mother's dismay). Whenever we wanted to step up to another car we'd try and flip one of those cars we were tired of. My brother discovered a product called Liquid Ebony (I don't know if it even exists anymore(? ) and we'd Rubbing compound out the cars then hand rub this liquid all over and finally wax it with the most expensive carnuba wax we could find. Those polished up cars sold in a flash. I further recall trying to dump a 2 door 1961 Dodge Lancer (salmon colored) with a slant six and standard shift. We couldn't sell this car at all. There was something ugly about it no one wanted, even when waxed? So we gave it the Liquid Ebony treatment and in 24 hours a girl and her father showed up to buy it. The car looked as though it was covered in a metallic Salmon Chrome not paint.
I guess most people will know this, but if you have chrome trim and badges you can't remove, use a toothbrush and soapy water to scrub out all the old wax and dirt. The Poncho looks new 👍😎👍
She looks so nice! Great job:) I got to do that on a original paint 78 Ford pickup a few years ago. (red also) Looked like a new truck when I was done! I was so happy:)
Stellar work on the Strato, returning it to its heights as the "pride of GM-Canada." There's also the truism here of how we always shape up our cars for the 'next owner'; while never getting around to the detail finish we would appreciate. Myles will have no trouble finding a buyer who'll relish this beauty. And the CWM sticker on the trunk lid will command ‘lotsa Loonies!’
Love the car. I'd buy it if I could, and I'm sure there's Many fans thinking the same. Hoping Miles polishes the wheels for Saturday's show as the finishing touch. Well Done ! Cheers.
Got our shirts, they are awesome!! Thanks, you keep making 'em we will keep watching. Strato Chief. When cars had cool names. Anything modern is numbers and letters.
A Strato-Chief for the stratosphere! LOL...and let us remember to vote this Nov., toward the common goal of getting our America back. Thanks for the memories.
60 Pontiac, 60 Chevy Definitely A Resemblance! 6cyl, Standard The Way To Go, My Family Had A 60 Chevy Wagon. I Was 10 When These Cars Were New! Excellent 👌 Detailing On Pontiac, Looking Forward To Saturday Beers 🍻 Thanks!

Scott, a very nice '61 Plymouth Sport Suburban may become available, th-cam.com/video/FDJqu-u2deA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=R3h0fAfAOJkqffZQ
Beautiful is the only word I can think of.
I sure wish they built them like that now. They were so nice to drive, smooth and just enough power as well.
That is such a pretty car. Who wouldn't want it in their garage?

A lot of work and patience but great rewards.
Another great video Scott. The Ammo NYC reference made me crack up. That guy is on another level for detailing.
that was cool, yes remove emblems
Scott, that wax made it shine like a new penny. 💯💕👊👍
Nothing can beat the styles of the '59/'60 era.
Amazing what a little elbow grease will do. Cheers
A set of crashers or vintage keystones wood spice up the ride
Wow, looks fantastic
Wow, looks great
Unreal.
Love it.
That wet car look can also be used as a Craigslist Clear Coat!
A magnificent job, on a magnificent classic car, absolute credit to the agents concerned 😊
Myles! how could you! That is a very rare base car, the Ace of Base at least. Oh well, some one will be proud of it just like you were. Thaks for sharing it with us.
Quite a satisfying transformation!
A little elbow grease, some cold snacks and good friends will conquer anything. Pontiac looks 45 years younger.
Lovely car I hope it brought all the money, love the way you all help each other - there's a lesson there somewhere!
I can't believe how bright that paint came out! You're right, Scott. It looks like the stylized flyers from the day.
Those good old factory solid colors always come back!
That's nice ! What a nice looking automobile ! Got my shirt this past week ! Awesome !
Hey great! Thanks so much for ordering a shirt!
I'm blown away by the difference!
Someone is going to have a super solid Poncho to play with. Hopefully it ends up in good hands.
I would not have been able to resist adding a set of trim rings to the wheels.
I always enjoy Myles’ projects. I will miss this jewel, but I know that Myles will find it a good home. I cannot wait to see what new project he pulls up in next. Cheers guys. 🍻
Just frickin Wow 😮!😢 Awesome 💯
The StratoChief came out amazing. And you’re right, Ammo NYC would be proud.
What a difference! Beautiful car! I wondered what Myles did for a 9-5 job, I never would have guessed Fire Chief, lol.

Man, the before shot looked pretty sweet to me….
…but okay, you’re right.
So nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Now that's what we call resale red

We received my wife's 37 Chevy t shirt today... she loves it! Thank you:)
Well.....wow! What a difference. The Strato Chief is beautiful. Well done, and thanks. Cheers!
I must say Myles has some pretty sweet rides
Gotta paint or polish the wheels for the pristine look.
Stratotastic! Looks great. White top and the caps. I love that 6 cylinder sound, too.
That 64 year old paint turned out truly beautiful. Well done!
60 Pontiac had the most beautiful front end. Pleasant to look at. Stylish art
Ah the wet look... I was kinda wondering what it would look like out here in Vancouver. 😊
Hopefully Myles old car finds a new home. Polishing the paint makes a huge difference.
I would have a very difficult time selling this car if it were mine. My first car was a 1965 Pontiac Stratochief, when I think about all the dumb things I did to that poor car… Now next to impossible to find one like this. Cheers 😊
Awesome job.
Well worth the effort, should be a quick sale.
I love that old Poncho. It looks great when finished. I watch Ammo NYC, he takes detailing to a different level.
Wow, exceptional result! A lot of elbow grease right there. PS: I got my shirt and it ROCKS!
Awesome! Thank you so much for supporting and encouraging this kind of thing for so long now... Cheers!
She looks lovely...And sooo much more authentic with the stock tires and wheels... Sorry Miles, but, hey! Old guy here. Todd the retired trucker.
What a treat watching the old Pontiac polish up! Car looks stellar, Great job gentleman!
that's a lovely old pontiac. surprised he's no use for it.
I am always happy to see you guys helping each other.. professional help is so expensive these days, that without friends the car hobby would die.
Beautiful. If it needs a new home send it here. I won’t charge much for room and board.

‘51 Kaiser polish next?

Beautiful Poncho.
Thanks for thinking of the 261 L6 fans out there. One got me to and from some Dead shows in NYC in the 80s. Best part of that car was the engine.
Sweet Strato Chief! The Kaiser is looking fine too!
16 mins well spent. Makes me wish I had a car with some paint left on it
Looks amazing! It's such a rich deep red buffed out. My 65 Impala was practically pink when I bought it, and with some buffing and polishing by hand it became a beautiful red. I like the orange stripe on side of car 🤷♂️😂
Love that Pontiac, it's the same color scheme as my 60 Chevy BelAir 4 door.
Am I the only one that enjoys the sound of the tires rolling over a gravel roadway ?
The Pontiac is a nice car, I wish I could afford it

The Poncho looks new 👍😎👍
that is such a neat old car and turned out beautiful
Thanks for the video Guys.
Looking great! It's a keeper. Lol!
What a fabulous shine on Myles' Pontiac! Nice work!
Good times 🎉 that car is red🎉
She looks so nice! Great job:) I got to do that on a original paint 78 Ford pickup a few years ago. (red also) Looked like a new truck when I was done! I was so happy:)
What a beautiful Pontiac!
Myles has some awesome cars and great taste
I spy a late model riding mower in the background. I hope this means that the Gravely has been moved into the shop for a frame off resto!
Stellar work on the Strato, returning it to its heights as the "pride of GM-Canada." It's a visual symphony beautiful
WD-40 works well to remove caked-up old wax off from around trim.
Miles is a great team player and a great man
Love the car.
The Chief is a noble beast. Lots of poise amd pride in that car.
The polish job turned out great also. I'd proudly own the car!
- Ed on the Ridge
My late. Father. Bought. Same. Car. His. Was green. Burn. A gallon of. Oil every. Hundred. Miles. Thanks. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The door opening design was so nice to get in and out of on the 60 Pontiac and Chevy's.
Chevy had that too but in modern MVA. YOU DONT FARE SO. WELL😮😮
You've brightened my evening
Love that Poncho style and the model name is about as good as one could get. Strato-Chief.
"Here's the fire chief kids!" 🤣 - All kidding aside, it looks beautiful. Can't believe the paint came back the way it did.
Such a beautiful car, I wish I had room for another.
The colour came around and just popped. Excellent work, fellas! Sad to see it go, but Myles needs some more Mopars before they revoke his membership.
A Strato-Chief for the stratosphere! LOL...and let us remember to vote this Nov., toward the common goal of getting our America back. Thanks for the memories.
That's a lot of work but the results are "right some purty", as some real old-timers here might have said in times past.
My thanks for doing this video Scott a joy watching love the cars see everyone Saturday.👍👍🙂❤️
Love the 60 Pontiac's. I polished the original paint on my 60 Catalina. It shined up like glass! I pulled the emblems too. Great job, looks amazing!
Wow that came up amazing.
The transformation of Miles 60 Pontiac Strato-Chief is spectacular! I’ve just received my 37 Chevrolet t shirt and it looks fine!
Looking good. 👍
