Our time in Croatia's Istrian Hill Towns was just what the doctor ordered! This area offers breathtaking views, a cozy, sleepy ambiance, and the most incredible food in all of Croatia. We had a very relaxing stay at Villa Marija in Motovun, and will never forget hunting for white truffles with Mihael in the Motovun Forest.
Here was our Istrian Hill Towns Driving route:
Lunch with a view at Pod Napun in Motovun
Drove through Livade (home of the world's largest white truffle)
Strolled mostly abandoned Oprtalj and Završje
Took in some art in Grožnjan
Checked out Church of Our Mother of Mercy in Buje
Ate Dinner by the fire at Konoba Astarea in Brtoniglia
