Chain is that component of your bike which transmits your engine power to your rear wheel!
So it's self explanatory that its also a very important part of your bike which needs timely maintenance.
In this video, I've discussed the procedure to clean and lube the chain as well as why I particularly chose Gear oil for the lubing purpose.
I have also discussed some points which one should take care while cleaning and Lubing the chain sprocket.

Very informative video bro, even I was using motol c2 lube for my bike and I drive 60/70km daily and it's raining every day in my city bangalore, and for every 3/4 days after my chain starts noice i was fed up cleaning and applying this lube it's costlier to, but after seeing your video I can save my money and time, thank you so much🙏❤

Hi, I was planning to buy kangaroo or Motul but I’m getting shell gear ⚙️ oil now after watching your video.
I have one question can we use NULON engine treatment oil for my Yamaha Rx 100 2 stroke bike?

I'm not sure whether Nulon Engine treatment is good for 2 stroke engine.
You may consider other brand's engine treatment oil which are specifically for 2 stroke engines.

The best process for RX 100 (non O ring) chain cleaning I followed was :
* Remove the chain and clean it with Kerosene
*Boil Grease in a pan and dip the chain in it until the liquid Grease settle inside the rollers
* When it cools , Keep the pan containing the chain in the freezer and thereafter wipe it to remove excess Grease and fix the chain in the Sprokets.
You will experience the smoothness like never before and can I could prolong the life of the RX 100 chain till 96,000 kms with only front Sprocket changing once .

Both will work fine bro. In my experience, the gear oil lasts longer hence I prefer it.

Yes you can use it. But ensure you clean your bicycle chain first using WD-40 or any other degreaser and then apply gear oil.
You can also use kerosene if your budget is low and i will recommend using kerosene coz most of the chain cleaner is nothing but mixture of kerosene and some chemicals

I went through some articles regarding this and found that the engine oil will serve the purpose for a short-term (say 50-100km) but it won't stay longer than that.
Hence, you can definitely use it but only if it's an emergency and you don't have any other option.

Maine use kiya isko lakin bike ke agle chain spocket se kit kit awaj aati hai, uska koi solution batao
Chain slack check karo and agar jyada loose ho toh tight karna ya jyada tight ho toh thoda loose karna.
Agar shifting k time aawaz aati ho toh front sprocket ko tight karna padta hai (incase it is loose) otherwise rear wheel hub ka rubber dampener kharab hogaya hoga. Usse change karna padega.

Chain vs belt.. which one should i choose?
Belt drives are quieter and don't require any sort of lubrication but they are Costly, difficult to fit in/replace and will require a larger pulley (in place of a sprockets).
Moreover they are not compact, have considerable power loss and they put more load on shaft and bearings.
So considering these factors, it is better to stick with chain drive on a motorcycle.

Engine oil pe dirt particles chipak k reh jaate hai jisse aapka chain sprocket jaldi kharab hosakta hai.
Hence, I would recommend that you use gear oil or normal chain lube.

@@Raj9970 Bhai, the gear shifting is sometimes on harder side but has smoothened a lot since I first started riding it.

It will smoothen.
Usually the shift from 1st to 2nd is sometimes clunky. Nevertheless other shifts are smooth.
Also make sure the chain is properly lubed.
