Hey John. Nice, I saw one of your other nunchuck videos, like this one years ago before I started commenting on your card videos. I think you were also twirling them over & under your shoulders, if I'm making any sense. This must be a great stress reliever, I'm guessing you're a black belt? Correct me if I'm wrong, I think Bruce Lee introduced the nunchuck?

Bruce made them popular for sure. It’s fun to train with them. People take it all too seriously. It’s great exercise and fun. I’m an 80’s kid what can I say. We were fascinated with them back then.

It must be fun to spin chucks as a stress relief, as well as a manriki gusari, I will say that.

This is impressive and all, but I don’t see how this relates to the Shadiversity video about nunchucks. I’m genuinely curious, how would nunchucks be better than a stick of equal length?

He did a short saying nunchucks are not fast which is moronic. Just having some fun. Nunchucks hit with ample power to split a skull omen I assure you but to say they aren’t fast? What do you think?

      Most obvious answers
      - More convenient to carry
      - Way more versatile in use

Weapons in fights are a fool's errand. I use my hands. But then, I'm almost blind. Maybe it's different for eye-havers.

This is just goofy. Someone with nunchucks in a fight against someone with a stick of equal length and width, and skill level would readily lose. "In a REAL fight blah blah blah" in a real fight someone with that stick would never let you get close enough to strike and would destroy those hands so you couldnt hold those chucks.
    Laughable.
Btw, here in America "boffer" is a massively common term and so is "fencer".
    C'mon get fuggin real.

I had posted a video showing a whole bunch of people with big sticks in REAL life fights against unarmed people get their asses absolutely kicked. No dumbass is going to stand there and let you swing a big stick at you. Shadiversity said nunchucks are fast. That is absurd. Big sticks are slow as F.

@@nunchuckman4253truth is, the chucks are slower than the stick, as the chucks is being slowed down by air pressure (drag). On top of it, they will also loose force on impact because of the chain (the impact stops and bounce away) with a stick the force of the impact continues through the target. To give an analogy you might understand, the nunchucks is equal to a semi contact punch where you aim for the front of the target, while the stick is a full contact punch where you aim through toward the end of the target.
Watch Shads original full length videos and also to the study that was done on this as well.

@@nunchuckman4253 if you think a stick the length of both of you chucks is slow then maybe you need to train in reality and not your head canon.
With both hands wielding the stick you can change direction on a dime, deflect, block, keep distance, precisely jab, and much much more WITHOUT telegraphing your attack with a physics wind up like chucks do.
It's just goofy duder. It's slow, comparatively, and you can see it coming a mile away...in a REAL fight. Without guard rails, chucks and a short staff would be a one sided fight. Nobody is just gonna let you get close enough to your prime strike range to hit them the way you hit a non moving foam head, ESPECIALLY when you doing so opens you up for haymaker to any part of your body with a big stick.
      Again, get fuggin real.
