- Mega Latios has returned to Mega Legendary Raid with Young & Wise event in Season: Dual Destiny
Earlier in this year, Shadow Dragonite and Mega Rayquaza has defeated Mega Latios as Duo Raid without weatherboost, utilizing Party Power. At that time, Mega Latios has used Solarbeam as its charged move. Aside from Solarbeam, Mega Latios also learns Dragon Claw and Psychic.
While the Duo Raid earlier in this year was a close fight, as shown in Blizzard Primal Kyogre/Solarbeam Primal Groudon Duo Raids, Dragon Trio can now defeat Mega Latios easily with Party Power fixed. While we have showcased both Palkia-Origin and Shadow Dragonite on those Duo Raids, Dialga-Origin was left out from the party. This time, Dialga-Origin will fight against Mega Latios as Duo Raid without weatherboost, where Mega Latios will use Dragon Claw, which is its most deadly attack against its fellow dragons challenging it.
Once again, Dialga-Origin has similar strength as Palkia-Origin and Shadow Dragonite, which means it would be an extremely one-sided battle if they fight in full strength. As a handicap, they will fight against Mega Latios without any power up, in which they would be all at Lv25.
Even at Lv25, Dialga-Origin can still take 2 Dragon Claws from Mega Latios thanks to its high defense stats and its Steel-type cover its weakness against Dragon-type moves. Overall, it is a very straightforward Waste Management Duo Raid, where Dialga-Origin will try to avoid losing Party Power from overcharging it, as well as avoid fainting with Roar Of Time being charging up. At the end, Dialga-Origin has defeated Mega Latios with ~20 seconds left, even when they have failed to use a charged up Roar Of Time occasionally. This shows how comfortable Dialga-Origin can fight against Mega Latios.
With Dragon Trio/Mega Rayquaza defeated Primal Groudon/Primal Kyogre without hitting them super effectively, one would ask, how about the other 2 generalists shown in the comparison test in Autumn? How would Necrozma and Primal Groudon perform against these highest tier raid bosses? Surprise no one, they can also beat Mega Latios as Duo Raid just like how Dragon Trio/Mega Rayquaza beat Primal Reversions.
Since Dawn Wings Necrozma hits Mega Latios/Mega Latias super effectively, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Primal Groudon will fight against Mega Latios this time as no weather boost Neutral Damage Only Duo Raid. With the restriction of only 1 Primal Groudon in the team, Psychic Mega Latios has been found to maximize Dusk Mane Necrozma survivability. The team will fight against Dragon Breath/Psychic Mega Latios in Windy weather as a Duo Raid.
Compared to the Primal Raids, Dusk Mane Necrozma and Primal Groudon has to fight without weather boost this time. Even when Mega Latios has less defense stats compared to Primal Reversions, the team are barely fast enough to beat it. Unfortunately, the matchup is close enough such that they would have to retry until Mega Latios use Psychic in favorable timing. At last, the team has defeated Mega Latios with 5 seconds left.

That play where you used your stored energy after the last hot swap is such a smart play!
Yea knew that Necrozma cannot take a dodged Psychic there so it had to switch out temporally and wait for the right moment to return and fire that last Sunsteel Strike
Had to do the same vs a Genesect at one point... it only threw an Ice beam as my Reshiram was loaded, so I redirected it on an energy dry Moltres instead. Used Moltres' Overheat, then Reshiram's
Your video really inspired me to start duoing and soloing raids myself. Just a quick question tho, is poke genie's built in team builder updated until the newest raid updates (kartana/0.5s fast move nerf).
since the move parameters has already been updated in game master files directly, the simulators should have already updated.
However, right now in game master files it still have damage window, which is unused in new system. There are also some hidden (server-side only) parameters like how raid boss decide to use charged moves.
Some simulators might not have implemented those changes and have slightly off simulation results. If you can, I would recommend PokeBattler which is so far the only one tried to keep track of as much identified changes as possible.
@pogoraidsgameplay2527 Thank you, I was just making extra sure. I wish poke genie was as good as poke battler.
The whole raid, the dialgas had the mega evolution buff, how did you do that?
There is a Mega Rayquaza in last slot of the team boosting those Dialga but it never fight by itself.
1st Ever Mega Raid that can get Beated as Neutral Damage without weather😮🎉
unfortunately it would probably the only one for now, really wish RoT Shadow Dialga will happen in the future
I guess the closest to being second would be Mega Ray?
Op 🎉
Thank you!
Have you soloed Kyurem yet, that’s on your to-do list isn’t it
I didn't get any NZ players invite so I have to wait it return as intended.
Who gave Dialga the account 😂
I managed to make it with 2 accounts using team power with level 40 or higher dialga, palkia, mega rayquaza,l can’t believe your performance
Thank you! Dialga is really good now with dodge being more costly, it can utilize Party Power better than others naturally.
@pogoraidsgameplay2527 what do you mean with dodge being more costly? Did they change something?
@@Shinyyungoos363-ci5tf dodging is slower now so if there is a Pokemon perform only slightly worse (in DPS) but don't require dodging, it is usually better.
@pogoraidsgameplay2527 oh, didn't know dodging was slower, why did they nerf it???
Try without party
Planned with Mega Rayquaza and Mega Sceptile :)
Nice 👍 @@pogoraidsgameplay2527
