he lies, all the other murderers said it was chaothic, the children were stabbed several times and they only shoot them in the head at the end of the murder. the children cried and begged for their lives, no one showed humanity as this blood-thirsty assasin says, even Yurovsky said "it was cruel, but it was the princesses: fault for wearing jewels under their clothes that only increased their suffering". i hope this man has passed all his life remembering what he did to innocent children and lying about what really happened that night
I assure you they didn’t care and wanted an end to the family line so no one could ever regain power. It’s absolutely disgusting what they did. And Russians should all still feel ashamed.
I don’t think knives were involved except for one or two of the girls (I think Maria and Anastasia) who wouldn’t die because of the jewelry

They broke through the entire bodies of the girls, ALL OF THEM (Yurovsky and Ermakov later wrote this), because the shots were sounding too loud and people in the street were noticing. They all wore corsets of jewelry, even Alexei.
I hope this killers suffered on their final hours.

Absolutely chilling to listen to this man calmly talk about “liquidating” the entire family....at one point saying they thought about putting them in a room and throwing bombs in....the matter of fact way he talks about this is....unreal. More Russians died under Tsar Nicholas and starved in their millions than under the Soviets. The best Soviet leader was Leonid Brezhnev who brought stability where Gorbachov was the worst and destroyed it. Stalin turned the Soviets into a superpower in less than 3 decades and was an ally of the west that helped defeat Nazism. Where Gorbachov destroyed the nation in 8 years. Obviously there were imperfections as no nation is perfect and they all have flaws but one thing needs pointing out and that is two world wars were caused by white European fascist non communist states. The same ones that form the EU & NATO. The same ones that destabilise the Middle East and over oil.

Not sure why people say that the guy talking sounds braggadocios. He literally concludes his story by conveying he apparently still has to reassure himself that they were treated humanely. There are few things that show more guilt for even committing the act than that.

I dont get what is "humanly" in his perspective? Romanov girls were harassed by vulgar paintings. Their daily meals were very limited except when residents around delivered some eggs, butters etc for captivated family. What these murderers confessed to doing with their bodies was even more disrespectful. While they lied about burning all of the bodies and throwing them down a well, they took pride in that lie and made it the “official account” of events to make people fear the provisional government. They were so delusional about what they thought to be true that they were proud to be thought of as merciless, ruthless avengers of the people. Granted, Nicholas II was most definitely not good at being Czar. He let himself be influenced by his family, his advisors and his son’s illness. He did not have the heart to take his job seriously because he was not trained to. He was not good at communication either. He was quiet and preferred the company of his children and wife rather than actually governing the country. Which made him prey to just about everyone that had an agenda. No matter what his crimes were as a Czar, he did not deserve to die the way he did. And his children never did anything to deserve being murdered. It was inhumane.

My heart saddened while im watching all the videos regarding the life story and reign of the monarch of the Romanov's family.
Greed of power instigated the elimination of the grand monarchs. while ,It is true that while kings and emperors are in powers they all cannot see what is happening in the countryside especially the impoverised county. They relied only on the reports of their people incharge in that area.

The population of Russia were very poor and the Communist doctrine was very much against what they saw as a failed system of elitist patriarchy. The "Russian" royal family also did not, for the most part, spring from a line of Russian peasants. They were of mainly German blood, as were all royals. Notice how much the Tsar looked like England's King. They were cousins. And that's not all. Only a small part of the problem. The family didn't really do anything wrong, per se; they were very much removed from the problems of everyday life of Russians during that time and the Tsar wasn't cut out to be the kind of leader necessary to rule during times of upheaval. The list goes on and on. None of it was the family's fault, but the people were made to think that they were to blame for many of the problems facing the Russian people.
as far as dictators go, Nicolas wasn't real the cruelest out of them but rather very out of touch with the life conditions of his people and rather incompetent in governing. He screwed up 2 wars, gave jobs to incompetent people and was easily manipulated which caused a widespread famine. The Tsar being killed by his starving and upressed people would have been sort of understandable. the massacre of his children was a downright crime by the bolsheviks

@@obiwanfx a dictator is never out of touch of what his people are living, an autocrat or a monarch is, nicholas wasn't a dictator, just a man who knew little about the job but still did pretty great at maintaining order and law, plus he and his family were givers to charity (chich the bolchevik erase because tehy assumed it was bourgeois economy.)
