Thank you! With your directions, and "Sew What Pro's" help section, I was finally able to stitch out a design larger than 4x4 on my brother SE-400. :-)
Thanks for this video. I have watched quite a few videos trying to learn how to use my mega hoop. You explained it so well, showing how the hoops overlap. I was finally able to get my design saved and to the machine!
Fantastic video, do you by chance have a video showing how to split a 3.94 x 6.77 hoop. I have a se-400 so I have the 4x4, I purchased the larger hoop so I can split
Extremely helpful video!! Thank you. Have you tried rehooping to do all three initials on the shirt. I want to do that so that I have a nice, large monogram, but I'm terrified of rehooping for each letter and it not turning out right.
Thank you so much! I've watched other videos but they neglected to show the positioning of the 5x12 hoop. Had I not found your video I'd have been very frustrated!
Great Video! Thank you for taking the time to make it. I did my first one tonight (it was an appliqué design) and it didn't want to line up properly along the split line. Any suggestions? I have a Janome 350e using the Giga Hoop and SewWhat Pro
This is awesome, I have all the questions about splitting designs for this hoop, thanks for doing this, although, do you have something for the 3 positions?
Great video but I am having a little trouble, advice please. I am using the pe 770, 6 x 10 hoop. (which I know only goes to 5 x 12.) I have my design in hoop on screen (swp). but when I choose the cutting tool it doesn't show me the 5 x7 outline. Also do I choose the brother large hoop or jumbo overlap? Thanks
The only problem I am having is that my embroidery designs, when being Embroidered it leaves a space where I split the design.. does anyone know how to correct this?
thank you for tut, would you please show or help me in how to do a stack name like I would like to embroider an Big M on the bottom then on top in smaller letters the word mia. Any help would be much appreciated please thank you so much ...tootles
I did this exactly as you did on my Brother SE400, using a 3.94 x 6.77 repositional hoop. It saved it to position #1 and position #3. I sewed it out and my patterns ran together too closely. I'm positive that I put them on the correct positions, but both of the items that I embroidered did the same thing. I thought after the first one that I had it in position #2 instead of #3, but on the 2nd item I made certain and it still did the same thing. Would you, or someone be able to tell me why it did this?
+sreihart we are having very similar problem except ours is not getting close enough. Leaving a small gap, but noticeable. Would love to know how to fix this issue as well!

+Mysti Williams you should do a video!! I have a SE-400 as well am trying to figure that out!
This is my last feat to conquer, trying to move past my fears of splitting. Thanks so much for your simple yet wonderful tutorial!
Wish you had more tutorials. You explain them so well.

I have the same question as Harding Vance. Was there ever an answer for the 4x4 hoop? I too have the se400
Very instructional video! Noticed the pins... do you also use adhesive spray? If so, what kind? THX
Hi, thanks so much for the help. I have a question. Can I split a 5x7 design to use in my re positional hoop in my 4x4 machine,?
Can you tell me how to cut a color block in sew what pro? I am new to the program and embroidery/applique.
Looks great! What size did the letter end up being? And what font is that if you don't mind me asking? Thanks for a great video!!
RaeDanaeDesigns - did you ever find out what font was used in this video? I am looking for a large narrow font.
Great tutorial! I know you used Position 3 to cover your entire design, but if Position 2 will cover it, just use that?
The only problem I am having is that my embroidery designs, when being Embroidered it leaves a space where I split the design.. does anyone know how to correct this?
can I do this using the nap tack tool also
Perfect tutorial! Thanks!

can you tell me what size that hoop is and would it work with a brother pe 770?
+Katie Catalanotto it is a 5x12 hoop and she is demonstrating it on a PE770
It is leaving a gap in between the two hoopings. Any idea on how to correct it
tracie johnson I am having the same problem! 🤔
Wow that machines screen looks just like the screen on Brother pe-770
This video is a big help, thank you!
I did step by step but my program only saved a p3, there is no p1. What happened.
