I'm an Ethiopian. Love this chapter in Acts 8. My country, Ethiopia is mentioned in our Bible in numerous places. Hope and trust that Christ's message flourishes in Ethiopia ❤️

The Ethiopia referred in the bible is not the same Ethiopia of today. Just as Ancient Ghana is not the same Ghana of today.

Excellent teaching. Not me, not now and not there made me think doors close and open. Nate Wagner is the pastor I heard a while back that I asked about. Thank you for teaching. Greetings from Dallas, Texas.

Dear brother/sister in christ please pray for me. I have finished my chemotherapy for cancer. While undergoing treatment my two daughters moved out suddenly, my mother died, and my wife almost died due to covid. I suffer from anxiety attacks and depression. I suddenly have become an empty nester. I have been crying every day since February 27th the day my eldest daughter left. I am anxious about my situation and feel like i'm not needed anymore. Feel like a senior in an old folks home just waiting for death or the rapture. I'm expected back at work on August 3rd and I am fearful of going back. I have 2.5years before I can get a full pension. Am in debt for$26,000. My sisters are fighting for money from my mothers house. And call me often to complain. Like Elijah, I have prayed to the Lord to take my life. Please pray for me.

It’s June 2023 and I’ve just seen your request for prayers. I truly pray that since you posted your message you have: recovered from cancer, your wife is healthy again, your daughters are happy and independent, your sisters have stopped arguing and that you are looking forward to Re starting work in August and that you keep trusting in the Lord. He will never leave you so you will never be truly alone. 🙏🏼

Too bad they didn't baptize him for the forgiveness of his sins. He won't enter God's rest.

I don't know how you got this fact wrong..but the Philip in this context is the same Philip as the disciple and one of the original 12.

Hello, Brother. Kindly read Acts 6:1-5. Philip the Evangelist is different from Philip the apostle. Philip the evangelist was one of the seven men who was chosen to distribute the daily food since Hellenistic Jews complained against Hebraic Jews because their widows are being overlooked. That's why the apostles commanded them to choose seven men who are full of the Spirit and wisdom. And if you read furthermore in Acts 21:8 he was described as the Evangelist. I hope this helps. 🤗💛

The text in Acts 6:5 reads; also Philip. That 'also' /indicates it's the Apostle Philip and not a different one. Reading from the NIV

@@differenteventsthekingdomway if you notice it says that the apostles stayed in Jerusalem, so this would in fact be the Greek deacon Philip or also know as Philip the evangelist.

Not even one (1) new convert recorded in the Book of Acts was ever baptized in the titles of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All were baptized in Jesus' name. Baptism using the titles was not implemented until after the Catholic Church Council met at Nicaea in about the year 325 AD. If you were baptized in the titles, then you have followed the teachings of the Catholic Church. All Trinitarians are a copy of the Catholic Church. The So-Called "Sinner's Prayer" that Trinitarians recite to new believers does not exist in the Bible. Yep, it was developed by the Catholics and is called, "The Act of Contrition." This was probably the first so-called "Sinners Prayer." The Trinitarians expounded upon it with a change of wording. The Apostles' baptized all new converts in Jesus' name for the Remission (Forgiveness) of sins. Yes, obedience to ACTS 2:38 is still the proper way to be baptized and yes, water baptism in Jesus' name remits sin. You can be assured that Philip baptized the Ethiopian Eunuch in Jesus name.
