Honestly this thing is almost good. If it had a top rail it would be good. Without it a top rail I see no point in buying this thing. But no it doesn’t. Good thing I got a longshot since they seem to be incapable of making a sniper that’s even on par with it let alone better
I think that style of sight is actually more relevant to long range nerfing- lots of drop and judging ballistic arcs, but a top rail wouldn't get in the way of that and provide other options. That aside, I'm somewhat surprised you didn't mention the rubberized grip. Unique among recent nerf blasters in my experience, and actually rather nice. Also, Raptor as in bird of prey, judging by the Alphahawk.
David Sowers, I hadn't watched a review before opening mine. I saw the spot you're taking about, and though, "Hmmm. Looks like they intended to put a PrimeIndicatir but decides not yo do it at some late point in production." Glad I saw your comment and watches a review finally. It says the BONUS is 2mags and 6targets, BTW. I STILL can't FigureOut what the heck the DePrime/UnJam button looming things actually do, though.
The flip up sight and lack of a top rail wants me to call it more of an infantry rifle than a sniper. You can see this in things like the 1893 mauser rifle.
This blaster should have been like my dream. Forward folding, extendable bipod, nicely sized L96-esque thumbguard stock with magazine storage, an actual bolt-ish primer unlike the trash Retaliator primer, what could possibly ruin all of that? Oh I don't know, maybe forcing everyone using it to try aiming with a grenade launcher sight. It was _this_ close to being absolutely perfect.
It's an Accustrike, therefore so accurate it doesn't need a scope, it just hits everything you want it to all the time. A pity as it would've looked really good with a scope.
illl bet that the raptorstrike doesnt have a tac-rail because then it would be the perfect sniper for all nerfers to use. and its like hasbros guilty pleasure to make a couple sniper rifles now and then. same reason the centurion was in the mega line. if it was using the elite ammo (which is most common) then that would be the best and hasbro wouldnt be able to beat it, and have to stop making as many snipers
not sure you get the point of what i was saying. i was never talking about performance. i was saying that nerf wants to keep making sniper rifles because they're easy and they sell well, so if they make one with perfect aesthetics and no problems what so ever, then the consumer will be completely satisfied with their blaster and nerf will have to get much more creative. in other words, making the perfect nerf sniper (when it comes to looks, not performance) = having to do more work in the future to create something that sells as well as the cool, classic sniper rifle style blaster.
Evan Stokes stock form yes, but modded the longshot is the most powerful spring powered mag fed nerf blaster ever. so your kind of wrong, longshot is best
I was in the warehouse at my job talking to my boss and I've seen this gun in the back in box still a few times so I asked my boss if I could put it on hold to buy later and she just looked at and just told me to take it. I got it and saw it was missing the clips which wasnt a problem. Brought it home and put a 10 round banana mag in it and it looks good
Hey Coop, I think one of the reasons hasbro didn't put a rail on the top was because the rail would block the front sight on the tip of the barrel. But still, It needs a rail, because you got to be freaking sniper status, dude!!!!
What kind of bullshit excuse is that? Just make the iron sight taller! Is that honestly so hard to do? It's honestly like they just forgot to put one there when they finished the mold and looked at it and said, "Whoops! I guess we should saw off a bit and add a stupid flip up out of a solid piece of plastic and call it intentional to keep the fans happy!"
That lack of a tac rail is the main reason I went with the Alphahawk when picking an Accustrike blaster for my collection. Alphahawk + Modulus scope + Modulus bipod = Pretty tacti-cool if I do say so myself
Actually, the sight of the Raptorstrike is good for aiming, Because you want to use this in long range, you need to calculate exactly how far the dart needs to go, and the sight is good for that. You use the other sight in the front for left/right accuracy, you just move the blaster to put the sight in the front between the triangles in sight in the back.
Now there's one: Stratohawk! Or it is more like LMG with the drum mag. And that reskin of Alpha Trooper (I don't remember its name) is kinda like that.
I just love it! It is like Microsoft update when evverybody's like: No. Don't change anything that's why we have bethesda, just stop, it's fine just don't change it. And they're like: No man. This is better. We don't need rail. This is better. You can't use that other thing. This is better.
What would be the point? Just put accustrike darts in a roughcut or a sledgefire and bam accustrike shotgun. I have shot the roughcut with accustrike darts and you can hit human size targets at about 40ft easily which you cant do easily with elite darts.
3:15 I think the reason there isn't a centre line on the flip up sight is because the front ring iron sight is directly in the centre of the flip up sight, so you are supposed to use that
Lets be real here it would take some very accurate angels and distance measurements to line up a rail to glue on top then the easy part is cleaning the rough lines then ill take the flip up sight and slap it on an attachment piece. Mind you this would take some time to do👍👌
Forgive me but if I was to use a "sniper rifle" I would choose the centurion because 1 the raptorstrike doesn't have a sniper scope 2 the alphahawk only has 5 shots maximum and doesn't have a long barrel 3 the longshot doesn't look right 4 the longstrike (this was close) just doesn't feel right. Might be duo to how it doesn't shoot the large ammo 5 the thunderhawk is as coop said worse than the centurion but I would use mega accustrike darts
@@space7939 yeah the Jupiter is an amazing nerf sniper but it isn't really compatible with n-strike scopes and that is the exact same problem as the raptorstrike

In my opinion, the raptorstrike is one of the coolest nerf "snipers" (dispite no attachment rails). Hasbro did a great job on the shell, it looks really cool, and since there is no tiny barrel that darts can barely fit thru, the barrel doesn't hurt performance.
Raptorstrike, has more capacity. Plus you can get a drum magazine too. You can make up for the tactical rail on top missing. you can use the iron sight, which is good enough, or tape a real sight for fun. But their not selling the raptorstrike at where I live so I bought the alphahawk instead. :c

Accustrike raptorSTRIKE!?!? NERF NEED STO STOP NAMING EVRYTHING WITH STRIKE AND FIRE!!
Hey Coop can you make a video of how to prevent jams on nerf guns
for springer- use good darts, and dont go too fast.
Flywheel-pull the trigger all the way back, and let it move forward all the way. and donnt go too fast.
hope this helps👍
use waffle darts and don't use garbage like the centurion, deploy, battlescout, etc.
here's how don't use bad darts depending on the gun you can get more or less jams
Oscar Gaming use darts that are not damaged
I own a Zombie strike long shot
(Don’t buy it)
It will always jam if you use crappy darts
Don’t use crummy darts
Raptorstrike: has no tac rails on the top.
Me: *Slams down a roll of tape on a table while saying "Tape." , just like how James May does it in that one meme.*
Where is the giggity?!!!
Could you do a accustrike vs elite darts/ blasters
SETH ROBINSON k thx
10/10 Design
8/10 power
8/10 accuracy
4/10 tatic rails
2/10 sights
Overall 7/10. Neat design, only if it had a sights rail, it would be better.
Agree
“8/10 power”
Below average doesnt deserve an 8
When the buy link is for Toys r Us... R.I.P the Fallen King
Tacticool Nuke incoming!
I have to ideas 1. Try not to slam fire if your gun is magazine fed barrels are fine and slow down if your gun is pump action
