Well, the dragster also has more aero, is lower to the ground, and probably half as light as the truck. So horsepower is just one aspect of the formula. Not really a like for like comparison here.

@@duroxkilo Nope. Traction control wouldn't help even on a go-kart with 900HP against a Top Fuel funny car. Check out Cleetus McFarland race his twin turbo vette against Clay Millican's Top Fuel dragster. Clay gave Cleetus a big head start and blew past him at over 300MPH. It is hilarious to watch.

If it would make you happy they could change the title to "900 horsepower street machine that thinks its fast to an 11,000 horsepower full race funny car" but I think they figured the viewers knew about all that other stuff. Of course the chassis are not interchangeable, do you really think anyone thought they were?
