I was watching this and thinking, “where the heck is he guiding him? That passenger wheel is going to dive while the drivers side is still hung up.” Thanks for all the help there 4wheelin’ expert…wtf.
Funniest thing is every time there is a rollover, how the vehicle literally shits itself. It evacuates the entire contents of its bowels (drink bottles, freezer boxes, packed lunches etc) all over the place.
0:13 Why point camera at the ground at the point of rollover?? It's actually somewhat common to see on youtube, do people feel bad filming an accident?
With the exception of the lost wheel early on, EVERY one of those panned out as I expected. 4x4 vehicles are very unstable, especially when lifted oand/or on bigger wheels - they should be kept as straight to the hills as possible, and as flat as possible with angled derops taken with both wheels at a time. With short wheelbases they're more likely to endo - both ways - especially if sudden braking or acc'n is used. When going into dips, one always has to consider approach angle of the front end, as it's easy to bury the nose in the bottom of the drop/ditch and flip is steep enough. Even if not flipped, it can be a **** to get out!
I’m a visual kinda person please post some clips of your expert 4x4 driving. I’d love to see the proper way to navigate some hairy terrain and it sounds like you know the correct way to rock climb.
@@survivallife7401 Most of it is down to being aware of the vehicles shortcomings - higher centre of gravity, with 'lifts' and larger diameter tyres is the biggie - and what the terrain being covered is going to do to the vehicle.
Short wheelbase, high center of gravity, if when climbing a hill in a Jeep and you veer ninety degrees, you roll over every time. I am starting to think that these Jeep roll over videos are approaching infinity. And almost every time when the roll over happens all of the loose contents, as well as the cooler, flies out. Occasionally the driver, who forget to put on his seatbelt, flies out.
A lot of those vehicles have too short of a wheelbase to be climbing and descending at those angles. Climbing and descending is when you want the long wheelbase if it’s mostly smooth or slippery, power can be applied more evenly and having a proper weight distribution. Larger tires will help avoid getting high-centred and lower the chances of a rollover.
