Glad we could help. Thats one main reason whey we post these videos and that is to help out other bimmer enthusiast. thanks again for watching and be sure to share this video with other enthusiast.
To be fair, it was helpful. Thank you. I’m just pissed off that it took me a minute to figure out the SMG variant, only to discover that changing the hazard switch didn’t fix the fact they ain’t working. And then to see the sloppiest wiring job ever. Sigh.
Great video, broder... muchas gracias!! Simple, easy to follow and I changed mine out in 5 minutes... I swapped out cup holders for euro storage compartment and now my 2004 325ci looks 10 years newer... You're the man!!
Excellent video - I watched it so many times in anticipation of fitting my new centre console and I finally received it today! Followed your instructions and they were spot on :) Removed the old console and replaced with the new one within 45 minutes :) Thanks for the excellent video!
This is great man, thanks. I'm about to do this myself when all the parts come. My interior is like 95% perfect...except for the center console and storage compartment/ashtray doors which are all gummy and scratched up. They're all getting replaced. Can't wait. Thanks for your help with my little project!
JayVeTV Yes, I was nieve when I posted that comment! 09/2002 I believe is when the Aux input worked from. My radio is 11/2002 and does work with the aux input.
Hey thanks for this video. Does the hazard and door locking mechanism also pop out of the center console? Just want to make sure I don't have to buy that part when I replace the console. Thanks again.
awesome diy video if u want to replace the parts for new ones or simply just plastic dip em :) u can also go ahead and vacuum all the crap thats been building up in there lol
Good guide. I recently ordered a complete center console including armrest. How do I remove the warning blinkers and the door locks buttons (since i am going to have to movie them to the new center console)? Any help is greatly appreciated!
remove the leather boot around shifter by pulling up. Once that cover is removed, you stick your finger underneath the buttons and pop them out. Hope that helps.
hi how do i remove leather boot on ssg2 gearbox version ? i've been looking on internet for solution/tutorial but ended up with no results it seems to be ultra rare gearbox so can you help me with this one please?

Great video! this helped me install the aux cable input in my 2003 325i next to my cupholders.
Eric Walz Sounds good.
Eric Walz What was the date on your stereo? I've seen people saying the 2003s won't work with an Aux input.
+venerated it has to be a 2002 and up manufactured model for it to have the aux cable connection!

Handbrake can go off just by pulling it off with a little bit of force. Just pull it to the Front. 👍🏻
