    • @JAREDFEATHERRP
      @JAREDFEATHERRP 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Incorrect assessment of my vernacular.
      I am using the term correctly lol. We theorize based on the already tested hypotheses that led to conclusions on concepts.
      So our THEORY of the volume landmarks for example (and the things discussed in this podcast) are "theorized" through data reading, physiological rationale, and conjecture. These add up to theoretical concepts we conclude. So to say it was cool to sit down and see the way/reasons Alberto and 3dmj come up with their own theories was correct.
      Hope that makes sense ;)

    • @sumdudenorris106
      @sumdudenorris106 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JAREDFEATHERRP Obviously I was giving you a hard time. However I was using this definition of theory.
      "a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained."
      Whereas the definition you are operating under is more like this one
      "an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action." I know this because you say that yourself and the 3DMJ team sometimes theorize differently. Respond if you feel inclined, I'm having fun trying to be right!

    When I’m in an aggressive cut, I’ll reduce volume down to 2-3 sets of each exercise per workout. Usually 3 exercises per workout; 5 days per week. (That’s down from 4-6 sets, for hypertrophy or strength phases. I won’t cut for a peak phase. I’m a powerlifter.)

    I have a question :
    If someone hasn't trained properly for first 2-3 years, had he lost the chance of all those noob gains he would have gained with proper first year of training

    • @sabineottala3588
      @sabineottala3588 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hi Kartik, no. Being a 'newbie' relates to how many hours of proper training you've done, not chronological time from when you first step in the gym. If you begin training at 100% efficiency from day one, the newbie games will be accumulated rapidly, but if you train less efficiently, the same gains will come but over a longer period. If you start training properly after some time of poor training, your rate of gains will increase from now on and you'll build up the newbie gains faster than before.
      That said, age is relevant, so if someone doesn't start training properly until later in life when their hormonal environment has declined (~35+), they probably won't achieve the same results as if they'd done the same training at a younger age.

    • @ReviveStronger
      @ReviveStronger  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very much agreed with Sabine here, if you start periodizing and training efficiently later on, you'd probably get a great growth spurt at first!
