Pretty awesome! It feels like your own take on it, with different references and sounds! I like how although it isn’t V7, you still made it feel like V7 with how many instruments played at once at some parts! I still think V7 is better, but you are still the first to accept the challenge, and honestly, it’s probably gonna be difficult for any one person to be better than the combined efforts of the 3 that made V7. Thank you!
I just loosely based it off of the original since I had a lot of comments in my other posts saying that my remixes aren't really any different than the original songs, so I tried to make it sound as different and "in my own style" as possible
@@NAMusician Yeah, the first 4 versions were called Superlomania, which was about the length of this remix. Superlomania was above average, but not amazing. V5 is when it shifted to Revolution and became awesome. V6 and 7 are long. There’s also “Superlomaniacal”, “A Super Duper Duel against Super Mario” (basically TSTMPWYFS), and “Revofugal”, a Centrifugal (another Lucas Pucas megalo) and Revolution remix. V7 also includes motifs from Thunderstruck, SwapToad’s megalo. There are 17 total motifs in V7. Btw, Revolution is the prototype name for the Wii. You made your second reply as I made my reply. I can understand people trying to encourage stylizing things, but I personally think that a remix is just meant to up the ante. Your style did bleed through and was an improvement. I honestly don’t know how to distinguish your style, I just see it as the typical style, but high quality, like Interstellar Retribution. Even your originals, like Regret, still feel like DustTale.
my style is just Rock mixed with EDM so most megalo/sans AU related undertale songs are difficult to remix because that is where my style originated from. In some originals if there is a story behind the song like Regret, I try and match the style of the songs similar to that said story. Regret is just The Murder reimagined. Most of the times there are cases where I just amplify the quality of videogame music by trying to make it sound professionally produced yet I still try and stick with my megalo-like style I have created, which sometimes doesn't work out as intended lol. Sometimes it gets difficult to create when most of the time I don't even feel like I'm making a remix or cover of a song and more of just a half assed reimagined recreation of the original songs. That's why I pushed this song out so fast without really looking into it cuz I'm just trying to not lose motivation in this whole music thing I got going on.
