I do have several varieties of native California milkweed. However, they don’t seem to be thriving and it could be that they’re in a spot with too much shade. I’ll have to try another location. Thanks for watching my channel and commenting.
@@jjtian4670 that is not natural or necessary. Milkweed grows wild around with no one cutting it back or interfering in any way. Plants are not as fragile as all that. People don't understand leaving things alone. Feed your ego on something else, the world is not that fragile it was here before you and will be here after you.

the word native like so many other words has lost its meaning. native only means born there. Any plant that grows there is native. All plants and animals began as an invasive,
so you think all the yellow hills with wild mustard are native and more beneficial to the environment than "actual" native plants that support more animals around the area

Instead of tropical milkweed (since you’re in SoCal) you should plant native milkweed if you haven’t
