The London Underground is huge, probably still reaching further than than the footprint of Gaza. The strip is 7 miles wide at the widest.
The only way I can reasonably entertain this spokesperson's claim is considering that there may be all sorts of Roman and other old tunnels and pipes there. However, given the amount of lies and obfuscation coming from him, I won't believe it till we get an independently drawn and verified map from sources other than IDF or US intelligence.

They will use literally anything that is technically correct when they can, or just lie. But there being 4x the length of tunnels under Gaza as the London underground doesn't sound too far fetched.

This was by far the best interview I’ve seen, with an Israeli propagandist! This is how journalism should be done.
NRK, the norwegian national broadcasting service is really good. It’s free for everyone, and it actually DOES question authority and power in service of justice, routinely. Top conservative politicians are put on the spot by debate moderators and journalists, being fact checked live and post-appearance, and they work together with activist groups in disclosure investigations like that of animal agriculture and all. It’s not uncommon for politicians, buisnessmen and stuff to be absolutely humiliated as they are questioned on NRK. Only issue is NRK can’t help the viewers who are too dense to even recognize the blatant internal inconsistencies they expose.
It is HIGHLY valued by the public though, and respected, even with the flaws in democracy that capitalism brings us. NRK still has public funding and is full of journalists who ACTUALLY want to do journalism. Even as our politicians clown around, lie and simp for big buisness. At least we have NRK to hold them to some standards, which I suspect is part of the reason we still can’t stoop to «american conditions» as we call it here.

This 12 years girl , Dounia Abu Mosen , her face will always stuck in my memory. Her house got bombarded in Khan Younis late Nov 2023 and the whole family died , mother, father, brother, sister. Dounia lived, lost both her legs. She was interviewed in Nasser Hospital around Nov 24-Dec 1st 2023, during Thanksgiving , when Israel stopped for the hostage exchange. She had a shy smile , sitting on hospital beds, looked tired when the interviewer asked her questions. Two weeks later, Israel started bombing Nasser hospital . A tank shell struck a children's ward in Nasser hospital and she died on December 16th/17th, 2023 . This is just cruelity beyond any means , bombarding hospitals where critically wounded children and pataients are recovering . This incident is from 5 monthes ago . Tens of thousands children by now have faced similar fate like Dounia.
