Rapunzel's Tower - Lego Disney Princess Build & Review

- How many towers are needed to keep Rapunzel detained? That's three towers and counting now, all made out of Lego of course. This new 2020 version - Rapunzel's Tower 43187 - looks spectacular from the front and has some very cute subsidiary builds (including the tiniest version of the Snuggly Duckling that you've ever seen and her all important swing). But the main event of this set is of course the tower. There's not a whole world of playing area/living space inside which isn't surprising given how tower-shaped it is, but it has enough easter eggs to make it very fun. And there's a smuggler den stashed at the bottom of the tower!

I tend to geek out about new pieces, interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so I get stuff wrong which I fix up, mostly, but in the end there is always an awesome model ready for play and display. I first thought maybe rupenzel would just be the same like in the other sets but when I see this rapunzel her skirt looks kind of weird but other than that it's really cute !!! Her tower has more detail !! I love it !!

I‘d really love to see Rapunzels Stepmom (idk if shes her stepmom or whats her name) as a mini doll! I think this would look great! And this caracter is acctually pretty important for telling the story!
I made one a few years ago but it was with regular a minifigure. I may make one of Gothel as a minidoll! The only problem is there aren’t any angry or mean expressions on minidoll faces. The closest is Vicky from Lego Friends. I used her head for Vanessa aka human Ursula.
Her name is gothel and I'd say she's Rapunzels kidnapper because she didn't marry her dad which means she isn't her stepmom :)

Great review and set. This one obviousy forcauses on height for the tower while the creativity tower set being shorter is also wider with more room to place things.

What's kinda funny is that Ellie called the bottom of the tower the smuggling area/place, when the sword in the purple chest was Mother Gothel's sword she used to kill Flynn Rider. But still love your vids Ellie

I love this set! Pascal is SO adorable, and the set is so beautiful! I REALLY hope they make a Snuggly Duckling set soon! I love Tangled, it’s one of my favorite Disney Movies (I LOVE Disney), and the Snuggly Duckling plays such an important part in the movie, and there are so many ways they could make a Snugly Duckling set with great references to the movie!
