I hadn't played with a digital pet prior to now, and recently got back into tamagotchis which I haven't played since I was very young. I just ordered a dukemon pendulum and I'm very excited to get into it! Thanks for the videos :)
Can’t wait to see Gerald again! Also regarding training and battling, the pendulum doesn’t track rhythm or speed when shaking. It counts number of shakes so you don’t need to break your arms shaking them(unless you want a workout like the shakeweight). Low shake counts can achieve megahit/gigahit which is the highest you can get so you don’t even need to aim for double digit numbers. Experiment to find what your digimon likes cause each one can prefer a certain number of shakes
I can't wait to see what Digimon you end up with! The Pendulums are so fun and the fact that we still don't know all of the Digimon that are in each version is so exciting. I got mine the other day so I thought I'd share some tips with you: 1) The buttons seem to be a bit sticky for a lot of people, but if you just bear with it eventually they stop sticking and work normally 2) You only really need to shake them 7/8/9 times when training and fighting etc (real useful when you're out in public and don't want to look strange!) 3) I'm not sure if it's confirmed, but they seem to have reduced the poop frequency? Even with 2 Digimon in one Pendulum they don't seem to be filling the screen with poop as much as in the original V20ths! Hope this help, have fun!
Noticed that with poop too, that's quite an improvement. Every goddamn time I'd wake up while running the original 20th they'd be sick from poop. Now I haven't seen these Pendulums be sick ever once yet!

I've been a tamagotchi owner almost my whole life but I've never had the chance to get a digimon so I'm super excited to finally have one. I have the black version and currently have a mochimon. I never cared much about mochimon before, but it's become one of my favorites now. Have fun!
I started watching your channel and in two months I had ordered an english 20th device. Never had a real v pet before, just the pedometer ones for digimon, but I'm now in love.
The megahit ratios are pretty weird as far as Pendulums go, and it only seems to have gotten worse with the 20ths, especially since the whole thing with the accelerometer means that getting exact shake counts won't be easy. There's variables like what species a Digimon is, how it evolved, and the whole individual side from the looks of it. It'd kind of be nice if it was like Digimon Unlimited and made a beep for every shake counted. As for the attacks themselves, the number of super hits is indicated by whether an attack comes out in paired shots and what sound plays. Speaking of DU, if it's any indication then the situation on the original Pendulum was that each type of shot had its own specific noise and it wasn't mix and match - that's what I'm assuming since I haven't seen the training on the original Pendulum. Still, it doesn't explain why they kept the three point HP bar on the training screens when it has no purpose, even moreso on the 20th when it usually uses the DM 20th's HP bar style. Nonetheless, don't forget that you can still do a hundred shakes before an egg hatches to give 10% to that Digimon's post-Champion digivolution chance as was the case with the old Pendulums.
I just ordered my own pendulums, the dukemon and beelzemon ones. These are gunna be my first v pets and I’m so excited so I’m going to watch this while I wait for them to come!
also, it's common for lower numbers to do the trick. it's not like the pendulum progress, where the numbers were higher. but sometimes it only takes like 4 or 5 shakes. on the original pendulums the highest i ever had to shake was 13 or so.
My black one is the same as yours, much quieter than the blue one. Also I noticed the buttons aren't as responsive compared to the blue one. I opened up the black one and cleaned the button contacts, it's much better now but not perfect.

I've discovered Digimon vpet since about 3 weeks just watching Kakujo's videos! Pendulum 20th are really good choice for newbie, because there are many different digimons in only one device. On August will come the Digimon 20th in English! If you live in US buy them!
I think you just need to do long deliberate shakes. Like its not the pendulum counting the shakes in these its an accelerometer so you need to register a good mini swing.
Haha hey bro I am a new player. I had a tamagotchi like 20 years ago and could never keep it alive. But I bought the black and grey 20th anniversary pendulum and have just started. I have watched a couple of your videos but I'm lost on a few things still. Like if I put it to sleep (with the lightbulb) will it do anything? Because there are times I'll be working and cant take care of it haha. I just started, I've looked for beginners guides but haven't had much luck. In the next video you said something about needing to train 40 times before it digivolves again to get it to digivolve to the best it can? Does that mean just til all the effort hearts are filled up or does it have to be 40 exactly?
Hey! Welcome back to digital pets! Yeah, if you use the light icon before they go to sleep, it'll freeze them until you turn the lights back on. Unlike previous versions, it's indefinite, so it's really helpful if you have work or a camping trip or something. As for training, you got it: Just train it until your Effort hearts are full (for a "better" Digimon, anyway).
just be careful that he doesn't evolve into gerald but with ludomon's weaponry, that'd be dangerous something good for a drawing request, sure, but dangerous
Hey, can someone answer a few questions to me? I really want one of those but: 1. What are the newest ones of them and are there any new coming out in the near future? 2. Are they connectable over the generations? 3. As a kid i had one of these Adventure digivices which you had to shake to digivolve and for processing through the levels. Are those the pendulum ones and did i get it right that v - pet and pendulum are combined now? (How to distinguish the two anyway?) 4. Is there a good shop to get one (beside the obvious amazon search) 5. Saw that u could regsister at an online tournament with one generation, was that a special occasion or is there a competetive "scene" online and will there be events in the future? I really hope someone can help me.
Hello, is it possible you can make a guide on how to use the pendulum? i know the vpet comes with a manual but i know 0 japanes, also, this is my very first vpet and im clueless about wich buttons i should press XD. I know it's a different modle but when I got the second wave 20th v-pets my gold one was quieter that my black one and my white one. So random but it worked just as well as the other two. Haven't had any other issues yet.
My digivice pendulum has some problem.. when i shake it, sometime it work and sometime does not.. i shake it like hell but sometime it does nothing... like u fight without shaking.. 😭😭😭
I really want one, but nobody I know is into Digimon so it feels like a waste just playing this on my own. Do any of these Digimon V-Pets have internet compatibility? I know Tamagotchi had it.
They're alright! Tom keeps getting taller and shedding his lower branches like a weirdo (I have a grow light on him 6 hours a day, so I hope it's not lack of sunlight). The orchid is trucking along, too!
Interesting... I know nothing about tomato plants but when the orchid looses its flowers, you should cut the stem where the flowers were and it should bloom in winter oddly enough. Repeat the process for to to bloom again in the spring. It would appreciate food too but only when it’s in flower. Hope this helps. :)

These Pendulums Ver 20th are amazing man. Hands down the best Digimon VPet on the market in my opinion in 2020 even with the DM20 and DMX series out.

Ah, you too? The silver-black version is still a little sticky with the buttons. I might take mine apart and see if I can help it, as well.

My digivice pendulum has some problem.. when i shake it, sometime it work and sometime does not.. i shake it like hell but sometime it does nothing... like u fight without shaking.. 😭😭😭
