Back when Call of Duty had personality to it. Black ops two is a great example of a game that just ran perfectly whatever weapon you use you could work with it. Ever since modern warfare 2019 call of duty has the same super fast running around the bleak colorless graphics graphics, score streaks don’t mean anything,a bunch of weird animations and jumping around magic and shit like that. I was so excited for black ops 6 that maybe it would prove me wrong but it looks like the same recycled garbage we got for the past half a decade.
You said nothing but facts here man! The attention to detail, balancing and atmosphere of the old games are unmatched. BO1 had some much personality and atmosphere to it and I think had the greatest main menu of all time. COD peaked with BO2 and we’ll never see it that great again unfortunately. I’ve accepted that and I try to enjoy the new games for what they are but they are catering to the TikTok/streaming kids more now with faster and faster gameplay and all of these dumb rat head and cat head skins or Fortnite type collabs that have NO place in COD. I don’t mind skins or bundles but at least make them stick to the core of COD being a military game.
All of the old CODs had such great mid game music! I think BO1 had my favorite mid match music. So atmospheric! Treyarch games have always had great menu music and match music though honestly!
