There's also a 40 shillings coin although very rare.
Majority of kenyans went cashless and this even made the money printing company De la Rue to close down business in kenya.Thats how serious the paperless policy is

rare coins in kenya (that still work), if you are a collector: pentagon shaped 5 shilling coin, 40 shilling coin with president kibaki and nowadays coins with president moi are very rare. they are phasing them out. there are still many with jomo kenyatta but every coin with a human face on it are being phased out and replaced with those animals you see on coins now
